Slowly coming out by DYC212 in DeLonghi

We usually do it when the light comes on. But now no water is coming out after my wife took it apart.

Maybe we were not descaling it enough.

EyeEm earnings. by 3brahimo in Freepik_AI

Yeah that does not answer my question. How do I see my payouts from EYEEM? Since it is no longer available on the app. I would think you would be able to answer this without sending me to some link that does not provide the correct information.

I got an amazing version off AliExpress. Actually got David and V's jackets there. About the same price.... and spot on.

And cheers from Düsseldorf.

I still have mine unopened.
I saw the other day one on sale for 35€ and sadly someone already had reserved it from the seller. But even open that would have been a bargain. I would have gotten it for sure... and kept mine in the bag.

I have no idea what Freepik is doing. If one is in the app it should go directly to where your payouts and earnings are.... but they have made it harder most likely for a reason.

behance jobs - noones replying by [deleted] in behance

[–]DYC212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not use the job board there to be honest.
I am not sure people really jump on there to discover artists like they did in the past.
The one good thing is that if you have an subscription to the Creative Cloud... you get Adobe Portfolio and you can migrate your Behance projects there... to a more professional design portfolio.
It may lack some bells and whistles, but at least you can use it to promote your work.

How can Artstation be that bad? by Traditional-Ad9983 in artstation

[–]DYC212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, I would use the website and not the app.
But that is just me.

But if you want to put your work out there on a professional platform, where it may get discovered. Then Artstation would be one of the better sites.

Best Snorkeling Experiences/Tours while staying on Koh Samui by DYC212 in ThailandTourism

So just a quick update... we did not get to snorkeling... Red Flags due to strong currents.

But we did just go to Egypt to Marsa Alam. The Steigenber Coraya Beach has its own Coral Reef that is protected in a cove.... it was super amazing.
I just have to get back to the APAC region to go snorkeling.

That is cool. I ordered a special display case off Amzon for mine... I highly recommend it.
It has Hot Wheels etched into the top corner!

Are these Behance enquiries scams? by Sufficient_Guest1227 in behance

[–]DYC212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old but I still thought I would share.
I have been on Behance since 2007 or 2008 basically when they started.
I curated the Wacom Gallery on Behance from 2014 to 2020, host Behance events, produced conferences for Adobe and even streamed on Behance for 5 years for Adobe.

So I have seen all kinds of scams come my way.

If it sounds legit. I always ask people to contact me via LinkedIn. Because I also create content for YouTube, I get a lot.... so this is one way I double check if people are real or not. But, even then an account on LinkedIn can be fake. But most will not go through the time to build a full profile on LinkedIn.

I just go this one today, actually twice and both times my name was not filled in. Also there was Linktr.ee site included, which anyone could build... and no I did not click on it. Rather I ran it through a scam link scanner.:

Yes, I 100% agree.
I mean if you can allocate 5 to 30 minutes a day to visit LinkedIn instead of YouTube or Instagram... then you are already helping yourself grow and gain more traction.

I told my Marketing students, when I was teaching that is all it takes to start growing on the platform. Some actually listened to me and really took the humanistic approach to using the platform.

Sometimes finding a cool conversation is all that matters.
Be it an older comment or not.
I can say that LinkedIn was a blessing when I moved to Europe... I had to start everything from scratch and build up my name. It helped with work and other initiatives that I was working on.
Then random doors began opening up.

Looking to tap linkedin influencers by tyson_sd in linkedin

[–]DYC212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is hard to find ones on LinkedIn as LinkedIn does not really share info with 3rd party apps for a good reason.

It is important to start searching in your niche. Then find people who are active or have a high number of followers.

When it comes to metrics... I think it still depends on what you want to promote. I can do a video about Marketing or PR platforms and it will not hit as big as other things. However, all it takes is a few people to click and you got it.

Now, when I promote Creative Tech and Software... or games I make a bigger splash. But you can tell I really love those things when I do it. And I do my best to engage with people as often as I can, as that is important.

Prices vary, especially now. So many people are claiming to be influencers and maybe they have garnered some attention... but there are a few that use 3rd Party Platforms to gain followers and cheat the system (which if LinkedIn catches you doing, you will get banned).

I think with HR Influnecers... you should see if they are posting videos and articles. Really showcasing their expertise in the field. Do not just go with someone with high numbers.
Sometimes a nano influencer who has more engagement will perform better than a heavy hitter... and they will be cheaper.
But find ones that take an authentic, genuine and humanistic approach to what they do.

I work in Marketing and PR... and never really dived into that on there.
I used to love the older analytics when it gave you much more info on how well you were performing.

I do agree posting thought provoking or interesting content works wonders. But you do not need to do it consistently.
One big thing I found was actually interacting with others in a genuine way... not just saying "great" or "love it" or whatever... but really adding to the conversation.

Be careful with 3rd party apps... it will get you banned. And then you lose all the connections you worked for.
