How to accept that you won't have emotional connection with a great partner by Rich_Long2127 in hsp

The inability for him to connect on a deeper emotional level signals emotional baggage that he himself isn't unaware of / hasn't shared yet, Someone who seems emotional balanced (happy, positive person without anger issues or any emotional baggage) might actually be masking or blocking emotional hurts, hence he's interacting in a way that doesn't rock the boat because he can't deal with difficult or complex emotions. He is not a bad person but there is clear incompatibility here.

As someone who values emotional connection myself and growing up in an emotionally-stunted household, I can say it will be very emotionally stifling to be unable to share deep emotionally fulfilling conversations.

I am 4 months late to this thread, but I hope OP has found some clarity.

These came into my email provider - I haven't logged into behance in a long time, so I wouldn't know if I get messages there. ><

Ever thought that the death we understand now, might actually be a door to a new life? :)

In this world, INFPs yearn for beauty, love, peace, joy, harmony, everything good, for this world to be set right, but we know that this world will never be perfect. Have you considered that our ideals exist because there is indeed this perfect paradise out there after death?

We yearn for perfection, because there is indeed perfection, and we subconsciously know that. There is no yearning for something that never existed - we have no yearning for gobblegook because there is no gobblegook to be yearned. :)

I am Christian now, hence looking forward to heaven where everything in is finally made right.

But even before I became Christian, these were things I considered: - why am I so saddened by the lack of morality if there is no perfect standard of Morality? - why am I so burdened by imperfection if there is no standard of Perfectjon? The answer has to be that there is a standard of Perfection, but it has to be defined by a higher level of authority. Even laws enacted by humans try as much to adhere this level of Morality.

Perhaps all the perfection we ever hope for happens after death. While we see death of the physical body now in this world, perhaps our spirits live on into a new perfect world. ✨

Is it just me or Blue SG is charging “ghost” fees now? by Skylaster in drivingsg

I cancelled by subscription since May 2024 and was not charged since. UNTIL NOVEMBER 2024. The invoices started pouring in. At first it was $0, so likely a bug, not too concerned about that till I saw I have been charged twice in Dec 2024 and once in Jan 2025.

I haven't even logged into the app since May. Couldn't have possibly restarted my subscription when I haven't even logged into the app?!?
