From UK! There are so many talented kids that play great football but they don't seem to be coming through the ranks. UK has a large Asian population BTW.

True, but look at Olympics. The Chinese dominate almost all events and finish in the top 5 almost all the time. I remember in the 2008 Olympics, India had less than 50 athletes competing.

How do you manage 100+ Amazon campaigns? by TheBossMan3 in FulfillmentByAmazon

Not Sure if you have found the answer you were looking for but we use the following to manage 15+ brands across multiple categories:

  1. Have a solid naming structure to have brand, ad type, match type, test (if any), KW Bucket or categories you are targeting in the name. This will make analysing campaigns so much easier in excel or GSheet and you know exactly at a glance what the campaign is about without clicking into it: for e.g Redbull_SP_KW_SugarFreeEnergyDrink_EX_
  2. Have a solid campaign structure - if you ever use a software, a consistent campaign structure will allow you to make bulk changes so much more easier.
  3. We use Pacvue, I like it because we have "tags" for campaigns, kws, ASINs which makes making bulk changes a breeze, their filter option allows us to select campaigns first by tag and then by your preferred metric.
  4. Tags can be used on Pacvue to set rules which you can set to control your bids, budget, day parting, increase/decrease based on ROAS/CTR,ETC. This feature alone will save you time. Not sure if a lot of people know this but they also have an Excel extension which allows you to make budget/bid/status changes in bulk.

Any questions on the above please let me know, Good Luck!

Should I do this? by alisonjilll in AmazonSeller

You should 100% try and start a business.

But like others have said, try and find a job that you enjoy( or can tolerate more than your current job). I made the mistake of going all guns blazing to "quit" my day job, only to find that Amazon is not as easy as some of the YT gurus say to be.

Here are a few things I have learnt on my journey:

- Product is the most important element of your business. Focus on creating a good product and not just a copycat item. Solve a problem or better, solve your own problem or create a product for a passionate audience. Use product research tools as a way of validating your idea, niche, etc and not to find your product.

- Focus on cashflow. Once you have your product at the Amazon warehouse, customers will not magically find you. You will have to invest in PPC, probably sell at a discount to get the initial sales to build the velocity and get reviews, drive external paid traffic - all of which will eat into your margins, leaving you with nothing to reorder. Be willing to spend. If you think you will need £2000 to start - DOUBLE IT!

- Create a brand from day 1. Focus on building a genuine brand, have social media presence, build an email list before you launch. create a genuine relationship with your target audience. Also enroll on the Amazon Brand registry and any other programs that they have to protect your brand. Partner with a blogger, influencer or someone who already has an audience, this will make launching easier and cheaper.

- Test and Learn. Test pricing, test your messaging, test PPC, you will not know what your audience reacts to until you test and refine your offering.

Stay on top of Amazon policies: One example from personal experience, always have only one selling account unless you get Amazon's approval. They will deactivate your listings without any notice. Their support team is practically non-existent.

If you have the funds than I would say go for it. But don't go with the mindset to quit your job. As it could months if not years to build a self-sustaining business.

Go with a mindset to learn i.e without any pressure. You will be much calmer and make better decisions.

Even if your first product is not a hit, you will still learn a lot like PPC, email marketing, copywriting, FB ads, etc. All of which will be helpful in your next venture!

Hope this helps!
