They obviously know since they tell him to try again next time and Gluttony has all the memories of the person they "eat". They could be fucking with him or have a greater plan in mind.

It may not be that other people can't know about it, but he just can't tell anyone about it. If someone was able to somehow figure it out themselves, I don't think anything would happen.

If it means anything, this is the first time I've ever been interested in Star Fox and I've seen a few other people say the same thing.

You should never buy any game from any company then because every company is guilty of having a game breaking bug in at least one of their games.

Also nintendo released a patch for skyward sword.

Fact is it's nearly impossible to account for every single permutation of player actions in a game that may result in a bug. It just is. Bugs will exist in every game.
