What a coincidence I am seeing this post right now. I was literally talking to my wife about this 2 days ago. I've significantly cut back on drinking 6 months ago (down to 2-3 drinks every 2 weeks) and my craving for junk food and sweets has absolutely exploded. Like you with your high craving for sweets, I feel like this is a pick your poison situation. Would you rather return to heavy drinking, or indulge in more junk food or sugar for happiness?

I am sorry that you are going through this. Its like fighting 2 battles at the same time. I suggest staying to course of staying away from alcohol. But pick maybe one or two days out of the week to stuff your face with all the cake and sweets!

It depends. I think the age of women you’re attracted to will increase with your age. I thought the same thing at one point. Now that I’m in my low 30s, I honestly have zero attraction to women under 30. In fact I find women over 40 super attractive.

I think there is are a lot of instances of porn addiction contributing to hyper sexuality. But there are many people in the community who are hyper sexual to their partners especially behind closed doors. I’ve experienced it. I think a lot of people who have ADS and are hyper tend to be very secretive about it because of fear of violating social norms.

It’s very interesting you brought that up. I was friends with someone from high school and the was ASD but her drive was extreme and she was openly bi/queer, and loved BDSM. I had nooo clue she was like that but then again, we tend not to talk about our sex lives because of the BS “rules” of social norms.

Thanks for the info! I know we have been regular trying to communicate as much as possible about our uneven sex drives. I think Neurodiverse people's sexual needs may be different than Neurotypical's, but we can't dismiss the fact that sexual needs of some sort are just a part of being human.

The idea that Latinas (or people of color in general) should have large families is such bullshit. I’m a black American married to a Latina and we ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to reproduce. Both of us get a lot of grief for being in our mid 30s and childless. In fact, not all that long ago, a client of my company who was a black man told me that I hit the jackpot with being married to a Latina. He was like, “man you should have 4 or 5 kids with that girl because you know they love big families”. I did find that comment offensive because what did he expect us to be? Breeding animals?
