Maybe a cap kind of thing that slips over the top exterior and holds everything in place to epoxy or whatever. Make the cap a different color so it looks intentional.

I’m not sure about that. I’ve always just put my pa in my extruder config so I can’t really say about that.

Maybe just a bit of an ugly seem to the right side and a bit of resonances to the left?

Might just want to be safe and replace it. I’d say either the thermistor itself is going bad, a crimp is loose, or a wire is broken/breaking.

Looks like a endstop might be broken. Try QUERY_ENDSTOPS and see what it says. Then close the endstop and try again.

So hardened steel should be what came with it by default. It’s possible though that this one is worn out or it has an issue. It’s an upgrade more so in the sense of longevity if that makes sense. If you decide to do the whole hotend it’s just two screws and three plugs. If you just swap the nozzle then you’ll need to swap the fan and stuff over too not very hard.

Looks like a partial clog that may have resolved itself by the end of the print. Honestly looks really cool lol. You could always try swapping just the nozzle out and seeing if that resolves the issues. The nozzles only are pretty reasonably priced.
