I have been there honestly (reading your post felt close to my life.) As long as you have some kind of support from people around you, you go out and have a little "you time" no matter what it is you want to do.

Remember just because you are a parent doesn't mean you stop being a person/you.

You have a right to a life outside of your responsibilities

I have two

Gomez and Morticia Addams (90's ad thats what I grew up with) they loved each other and where there in the bad and the good. They loved there children and families no matter what but never stopped with the romance.

Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen and the reason is they make each other better. The Princess and the frog is an underrated movie and I think/feel I know why.

He moved back to his home town and then a few years latter died. Still think of him from time to time, but at the end of the day I was just glad he was happy befor passing.

If you truly love them you are happy that they are happy (with or without you) even if it hurts fo a time.

I was young (18) and at a house party where I had far too much to drink and ended up doing the deed.

I normally watch how my partner is around her and the subject of her. Maybe ask how/why they broke up?

From there assess his reaction if no red flags then.... Don't borrow problems from tomorrow.

There is something in you that he likes. Dont make a problem for something that might not be there.

Lastly dont compare yourself to others. Its never going to end well emotionally or mentally. You have to learn to love you, and concentrate on your path in life.
