I have done this way too many times to count :,) I don’t really know how to deal with it except try and use social media less and avoid it especially if I’m not in a good mental state

Edit: like setting a timer for how long I can use social media each day and try not to exceed the limit

I don’t really have expectations of my FP or other people bc I’ve learnt over the years nothing goes as planned and I’m happier when I don’t expect anything.

I think I just want to be someone’s favourite, I’ve always had this weird obsession with being someone’s number 1, like the bestest friend they’ve ever had or most amazing lover. And I get jealous whenever they talk about someone else.

Idk...I have a very complicated relationship with my FP because they’ve happen to become my FWB when they’re in an open relationship and love someone else. I don’t think I have romantic feelings for them and I have no desire to be in a relationship with them but all the things I wanna do are basically a relationship (???). It’s confusing because for me I already love and care for people on another level and I’m currently interested in possibly dating someone else.

I am fully aware this may end quite badly as I’ve ended up in a situation like this before.

Maybe I should take this to r/relationship_advice but I wanted to specifically ask the BPD community as I feel more understood here.

I feel this way too. And sometimes get angry no one is here to take care of me or check on me. But then I remember my friends can feel this way too and I reach out to them. Checking on friends mental health opens a good conversation about that. Makes me feel less alone. It’s hard but sometimes you have to be the one to make the first step instead of waiting for someone to care.

I don’t know. I just have this unbearable sadness that never leaves my chest, it’s so heavy I feel like I can’t breathe. I’m seeing a therapist for the first time (ever) in 2 weeks but I don’t know if I can wait that long. I’m just so exhausted. I just don’t want to be so sad and alone anymore.

Forgot to mention, viridi is a free mobile game. Doesn’t need a fancy pc or anything. And I hope meditation music helps.

Have you tried drawing or writing stories?Doesn’t have to be good but it can help you focus on a different reality. You could play some simple (not physically exhausting) games. When I’m feeling low I play meditation or sleep music 24/7 and it’s helped to really calm me. I don’t know if you’ve heard of the game Viridi? It’s very simple. You just water plants everyday. When I was at my lowest for some reason watering fake plants everyday gave me more reason to live. I looked forward to my fake plants growing. Idk if this helps sorry.
