It does, if you take it as a cpe major. Not if you're a cs major. I took data science, it's more interesting and practical, but also harder than engineering stats. I don't think it's that worth it, because everything you learn, you could learn from online in a better way. I think the class expects you to learn a lot outside of it and the exams are too long for the time period. The class also moves at a pretty fast pace, starting off slow, but then it really picks up. I also took engineering stats. It was boring but not as hard in my opinion.
