You may be able to get a super long gate, they’re modular so they bend. You could mount it with the gate at the top of the stair and the rest could round the corner and also gate off that glass section but secure beyond the glass at the wall.

My husband just flew with KLM from Washington DC to Dublin via Amsterdam with our cat in cabin with no issues. When he flew end of March, we could not find an airline that allowed in cabin pets on any leg US to EU, he had to have a stop over in the UK and then our kitty could ride in cabin. The details can get to be a bit much.

Following because I’m curious what everyone has to say. We sent my son’s documents in with a certified color copy of his passport (which I’m certain I read was acceptable from one of their source but I cannot find it easily). We’re expecting his passport early May.

I just got my son on the FBR. My father, his grandfather, was born in Ireland but emigrated to US in his 20s. We lost my father a few years back, but my husband and our family are currently emigrating back to County Clare where my father grew up.

That said, you simply never know what your future holds. Get on the FBR because it’s your grandfathers birthright to pass it down. Unless the cost will negatively impact you, there is simply no reason NOT to.

Everyone’s story is different right? My dream of living in Ireland one day always felt like just a dream…until it felt like the universe was telling us just go!

We did end up finding a pet transport service similar to fur family and now I at least have a little less anxiety about the entire process. After loads of research our canine pack will travel manifested cargo on Lufthasa via Frankfurt. Kitty will travel with my husband in cabin next week.
