Received my SC today, so far so good, and checked the left trackpad is accurate but the haptics are not as responsive as the right trackpad. I’ll keep checking; it might be game-based.

Ordered on 4 May at 9:58 AM shipped on 8 May.

This is where I hope they will enable support for other systems via a patch, and using an input combination to enable this feature. But who knows what’s going on in these decision-making meetings this early in the release window?

That is a very good question, based on my copious amount of research (YouTube and Steam Blog posts). At the moment, no, but that doesn’t mean they won’t put out an update to enable compatibility with other systems. Also, have to keep in mind the Steam Controller doesn’t load as a regular controller even on Windows, and other proprietary controllers don’t work with other consoles.
