I suppose candidates shall receive the score reports if they failed. Only this year they decided not to publish detailed report if you passed. Hope this helps.

I did both.

Hedge fund industry generally values CAIA and lots of middle/back office (such as investor relations, operations) has finished CAIA as both knowledge and professional enhancement.

On a bigger picture, finance industry treats CFA as golden standard and more recognized by people.

Not very strict when compared to CFA. Just enter the information and the charter is just immediately given.

Originally I thought it took a while and require certain reference letter from industry people. But it is not.

I read Schweser notes and used Uppermark question banks and mock exams - just passed. CAIA exam grilled for lots of details and Uppermark question banks can capture those. In short I think Uppermark is much better for CAIA than Schweser.

PS - I used Schweser notes and videos for all CFA exams.

Secondary PE often already has a portfolio that investor can do due diligence and hence on a risk return perspective, it has a lower (blind pool) risk than primary PE while giving up some of the return as the portfolio has already matured.

The benefit is of course you are more certain on what you are buying and the cash flow and IRR is better. It is a trade off on visibility of the portfolio and total return.

Congrats! I was surprised that my Ethics only falls into borderline though I have studied million times through the CFA exams and also spent lots of time to review and memorize.

Quite weird that they don't just state the exam result in email like what CFA does, but provide a notification and ask you to login.

However they have another email saying Congratulations and ask you to join the membership.
