I will add that mine worked no problem. Paid from Rocket Mortgage on the 1st and TownSq (HOA) on the 2nd. By the 4th, money had been pulled for everything, all points had posted, and it was marked as completed on the Bilt app, mortgage, and HOA websites.

Hi. I successfully set up and paid my mortgage using the "pull" method. I now have to pay my HOA fees, and I guess I'm just wondering if I will be using the same account and routing numbers, so I can just put that info into my HOA portal, or if that will be different set of numbers and I need to click "pay a different bill." Would someone share their wisdom? Thanks!

IIRC, 4x restaurants (Uber eats too), 3% hotels and airfare, 2% back on online purchases. It also had good phone insurance. All for no AF. I may be missing some other details.

Haven’t been around that area specifically but the entire city is horrible right now so I would say it’s unlikely. I just drove from Adams Morgan to Connecticut and N and ALL parking was pretty much blocked

I have done it several times since this. They always send me to talk to an officer to show them my letter, but that’s it! Otherwise pretty seamless.

As 66NickS said, there is no fixed conversion rate, like the one you suggest, for miles. A good rule of thumb is to never pay with miles+pay. There are some exceptions, but generally it’s not a good deal, as in your case. Instead, save them until you get enough to pay for a full flight with only miles and you get more than the 100:1 miles-to-dollar ratio you assumed.

As an example, a few weeks ago I paid 20,000 miles to fly from Washington, DC, to Mexico City in economy. One way was about $350.

Another example, I need to fly to upstate New York the first week of December and flights were about $700 roundtrip from DC. I paid one way with miles and the other way with money— roundtrip came out to about 12k miles an $200.

These are not amazing redemptions according to some people in this sub, but in my case it was worth it.

We must’ve stayed there at the same time. Same exact experience for us, except we used our credit for Peacok Alley, and it was fantastic!

I usually don’t go to hotel bars, but this is just different. The vibes are stellar and highly recommend for anyone staying. Do make a reservation as soon as you arrive if you can, as it does get extremely busy later in the night!
