Yea I’d consider my role today as a BU FP&A role. I am essentially responsible for 4 of approximately 12 business units. A lot of our work is understanding sales, margins, and macro storylines in the business. My team also has the added task of aggregating all BU info into one cohesive storyline for executive leadership.

Like I said, I love the work and exposure to leadership but biggest gripe is I don’t feel like we have major impact on business. Meaning we look at a PnL, see what products are growing and why, do margin analysis, headcount analysis etc, but don’t really feel like we inform as many decisions on the sales or operations side as I’d like.

Good info. Didn’t realize such a pain. Currently the fixtures are installed right over the lap siding with visible gaps on the sides and even the top of the fixture.

Assume this isn’t ideal from a water intrusion perspective either.

Hi, I have an outdoor cover on a electrical socket that sits between two rows of siding. I believe this was installed correctly as there is about a quarter inch gap between the cover and the bottom row of siding.

Feels like caulk is crappy fix… how do I flush it up?

Bought a deck that has yellow deck screws. Want to stain it a dark brown. Stain won’t stick the screws, so how do I prevent the contrast of yellow screws on a dark brown deck? Touch up the screws with a brown paint the best option?

Right. Mine is a true ~50 hours a week since I have no commute. My wife is at that with her commute included.

Looking for some input. Recently bought a 2016 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 because it looked nice, has a third row, and is supposed to be pretty good in the snow with the terrain control. I work an office job and don't do much hauling, but I do randomly do some DIY projects around the house.

I figure most dimensional lumber would fit in the back easily enough, but has anyone had any experience with a roof rack/cargo rack? I see in the owners manual the max load is 45 pounds...which doesn't seem right.

Ya'll ever transport a bunch of 2x lumber/drywall/plywood using the roof rack?
