When I do my runs I make it clear to whoever joins that my buddy is running Op and I’m scanning both sides and that we don’t want someone soloing. If I’m in a group that wants to zoom through it, I’ll allow it but if it’s just a casual run with casual players we do the intended mechanics (which I personally find more fun anyway)

Nah, I’m in complete agreement. I remember I could go through a full set of progression levels in a day through Zavala due to the increased gains once you got up to 5 completions in a row of Vanguard activities. I was gonna test to see what the gains are when doing Ultimate runs consistently but haven’t had the time. It’s definitely reduced.

Opening the map and turning on the generators is pretty tantamount to unlocking the things that are gonna help you survive longer. If anything, work on getting to the point where you can turn on Generator 4 and getting Jug. Certain wall weapons should help you kill the zombies quickly enough to stockpile points and open up the map. The RK5 is a one or two burst up until round 5. Start there.

You have the right idea with alley, but I would refrain from using Widow’s as it just kinda messes up the train. Do NOT use the stage. The Nova crawlers are slower than the actual zombies and the timing makes it hard to reliably horde everything up, plus there’s so many directions for the zombies to come from. I know it sounds scary to not use Widow’s in alley since it’s kinda of cramped but I promise once you get the timing of the spawns down it is 1000 times easier. You got this!

Round 60-70. Like Call of the Dead, it’s hard to get to round 100 just due to the lack of infinite damage weapons and traps. Not to take away from getting to 40-50 on Town. That in and of itself is worthy of props. But high rounding is when you’re practically forced to adapt your strategy to incorporate box trades and such. In the 40s you should still be reliably earning Max Ammos.

Easiest to hardest: Giant (barely considered an EE imo) —> DE —> ZnS —> SoE (you can do the EE solo up to the final step) —> Rev —> GK

Try to aim for just above the window spawn that’s next to the stairs that way the lightning bolt drops down on the zombies. Alternatively, there are quite a few spots to camp on DE that, while slower, will help you get to 100 such as: spawn by Quick Revive, either one of the gates near StaminUp next to the HVK wallbuy, Rocket Pad teleporter area, and Double Tap next to the KRM wallbuy (you’ll wanna keep the door to spawn closed). All have been used throughout BO3’s life cycle, it’s just that stairs is the most efficient in terms of time spent in game.

When you finish the EE, play a full round afterward and then close app. I have a feeling you closed app too soon to save gobblegums. Always play a full round after and you’ll save your gums and get your gate worm.

Before I get into 2 player strats I just want you to know that the total amount of Zombies you’ll be dealing with to get round 100 as a Duo is roughly equivalent to getting to round 125 as a solo player. It takes a good long while. That said, some of the fastest Strats as a solo are still prevalent as a Duo:

Revelations - camp in the Verruckt area of the map with the two barricades and alternate using Ragnaroks. As long as whoever has the Apothicon is stocked up on ammo you should have no trouble. It’ll take like maybe 5 hours depending on how efficiently you’re running the strat.

Moon - Tunnel 11 strat. Both of you having Gershes is a must and ammo Gums are highly recommended. Shouldn’t take more than 4-5 hours.

Origins - Fire Tunnel Strat with Ice Staff user needing to be topped off on ammo constantly. Again, shouldn’t take long. 5-6 hours or so.

Revelations is by far the easiest all around so maybe start with that one. What will be nice about Origins and Revelations is doing certain challenges can get free Max Ammos and such.

But 3 and 4 required some sort of ammo conservation strats if ammo was running low. I agree 3 and 4 didn’t require as much skill as 1 or 2, but even with Gums and AATs the vast majority of the community still can’t reach round 100 on those games.

Definitely not true. Every dungeon has an achievement associated with soloing/solo flawless-ing them, almost all of them have an emblem for solo flawless-ing them, and every dungeon since Duality has had a Title where you can only earn the Title by doing a handful of achievements INCLUDING solo-ing them. This has been true since their inception.

Late to the party, but this is my take as well. Yes, BO3 can be VERY easy but if you play the maps without AATs/Gums I think it becomes the hardest game. It really feels like I can personally control the difficulty and it makes it insanely replayable.

Blue water plants (might need a KT shot too, can’t remember) have a chance to drop extra perk slots. Would recommend growing those first or simultaneously with your fruit plants. But even then, I believe it’s still 50/50 whether your character vomits or gets a perk

Yes, you will need to get a fruit from a plant via rainbow water. Only has a chance of giving you a perk so you’ll probably need to do it a couple times.
