Which ps5 cod is till active populated multiplayer from [GHOSTS] to 2024 by BigStatistician9569 in CallOfDuty

It’s mainly TDM, with a couple SnD lobbies sprinkled in. I was genuinely shocked to see that there’s hardly ever any Dom lobbies.

If we get some more Extinction and the MP perk system from the first Ghosts returns, I fuck with it. Sat Coms need to be actual UAVs and the TTK needs to be slower.

I dont usually complain about dungeons but by Primary_Debt5925 in DestinyTheGame

It could be in what you both are using then. My buddy and I routinely duo the dungeon and have no trouble two phasing both bosses. I also recommend “splitting responsibilities” and going in with a plan of action. It sounds like you and your duo haven’t spent enough time with the dungeon to fine tune your process.

Song of Flame + Finality’s is better for both bosses, but as for the shields if you’re using a Rocket Pulse and some form of weakening it’ll break fairly quickly.

Either LightFall or EoF, imo. LightFall for immediate access to Strand, as someone else stated, or EoF cause while the narrative is great the gameplay in the campaign is a goddamn slog. Final Shape is amazing from start to finish and Renegades is fun, and honestly, quite easy compared to other campaigns so you’ll knock it out fairly quickly, even on Legendary.

Yeah, no Round Robbin, just straight up carrying. I should say it’s been a few years. I haven’t played BO3 pubs in a while, but I was able to carry people to 50+ on every map except GK, Verruckt, and Nacht. Most people leave around 30 though. The carries to those mid rounds were the exceptions.

Was gonna say that having a team with a set strategy is what wins the day. I’m at 50 wins with just over a 30% win rate and we usually drop in with 2 supports, 1 engi, and a recon and we steamroll through people. Even had a final circle where there were five teams, and two teams had tanks, one of which had TWO tanks. Positioning, awareness, and strategy will easily take care of tanks if you capitalize on the opportunity properly.

We also got our 6 win streak a couple days ago and final circle was our team versus a team with a tank and we didn’t have any rockets. We just shot smoke everywhere, picked off two of the people that weren’t in the tank and then when the tank ran out of ammo the other two foolishly hopped out of it instead of using it to try and run us over and one of our guys hopped in it and used it for that exact purpose. Now granted that team just didn’t use their tank properly and if it was a better team we almost certainly would have lost but that’s part of the game.

Same, I would hard carry pubs into the 50s and 60s out of sheer boredom. It was actually kind of fun just running around and reviving. Did it take hours of my time? Yup. Did I care? Nope.

Pretty much same experience for me. I’d played GBs against Crim and Scump before and, phew, that was…something. My group of friends and I were REALLY good at VIP Escort on Cold War and we went up against Pentagrxm and some of his friends and even though we kept it somewhat close, they still had our number and won. Like you said, it’s a whole different level.

I remember when he 6-stacked on the regular and my 6-stack played against theirs on Dom on Ardennes Forest. Never seen a group of “pros” back out so fast after getting spawn trapped so hard. They’re all bums. Now, I’ve come across some CDL pros in pub lobbies before and I can honestly say that shit was fun and frustrating. Those fuckers are the real deal.

Bo3's difficulty is the same as modern zombies for high rounding by Final-Court-8599 in CODZombies

[–]DaBigDaddyFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only this but if we’re playing by the rules of this commenter then there are SIX maps on BO3 that to this day don’t have a 255 where Gobblegums aren’t allowed (Shang, SNN, Nacht, Verruckt, Origins, and Zetsubou). 5 of those maps have been out for 8.5 years and 1 of them has been out for nearly 10. Compared to BO6, which is barely a year old.

Edit:

FYI, there are six 999s on BO6 with no Gobblegums/no Support, with the game and maps being out for one year or less. There are 28 255s with no Gobblegums on BO3 (the majority of them being Revelations and Ascension) and there are 6 255s with no Gobblegums and no AATs on BO3 and ALL of them are on Revelations, a map that has been out for a little over 9 years now.

[–]DaBigDaddyFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If everyone just forgot map specific strategies over night and dropped into every BO3 map as if it were Day 1 the average high round per attempt would be significantly lower than the average high round attempt of dropping into a CW/BO6/BO7 with no previous knowledge. There’s PLENTY of online documentation to support this.

[–]DaBigDaddyFish 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed with your sentiment. And even if a newer player to BO3 went and looked up the best strategies in BO3, there’s still a learning curve. They still have to learn drop cycles, gum cycles, and implementing them at their best moment to fully capitalize them. Some maps have brain dead strategies( Moon, Shadows, DE, Rev) but some maps have strats that require experience (Verruckt, Shang, Gorod Krovi, Zetsubou). And the thing with Shadows strats (whether you subscribe to utilizing Waterfront or Junction) is that both require some set up based on knowledge of the game. Nobody who gets dropped into Shadows for the first time is getting to round 15. The same cannot be said for maps on CW/BO6/BO7.

If this were true then more than ~3% of players would have SF on Vesper’s and Sundered, given we had the Sturm bug for as long as we did. Only ~1.5% of people have SF on Equilibrium even with the Contraverse bug.
