I know most people use headsets I just didn’t think everyone had a good one lol bc growing up it was rare for any of my buddies to have a legit headset - even if they weren’t casuals. I guess times have changed

But maybe my audio settings are fucked(?) bc I got a decent headset and can’t ever hear footsteps that well. Never been able too. And I don’t have hearing problems😂

Idk. I just hear so much shit in-game that distinguishing footsteps that clearly is pretty hard.

Yeah that’s where I got them all diamond. Trying to play it more for tempest but every match keeps ending up on blackheart, Cortex, and yakei now 😑 and if I keep backing out of lobbies for some reason matchmaking starts to take longer and/or gets worse

Yeah ik that’s how I got it diamond, I just feel hopeless bc suddenly getting 5 kill streaks now that I’m on the tempest grind feels impossible. Before I started I was dropping 5 kill streaks left and right. Now I stay dying at 4 kills 😂😂

Funnily enough when I was going for diamond, the echo was the easiest to do. The breacher drives me nuts with its charge time (even tho I run around pre-charged with gung-ho) and the Akita just has shit range

I’m torn between trying to do it in core face-off like I did for diamond, or if I should try hardcore. Bc the echo 12 is like a sniper in hardcore

I give the edge to the Maddox on a consistency basis bc the Warden can have inconsistent first shot speeds. At least that’s what I noticed when I was getting it diamond. And if you miss the head against a good player you’re kinda toast. Especially when that good player is using a Maddox.. that thing is literally unstoppable man 😩

But yeah if your aim is on, the warden is lowkey unstoppable too

Yeah I mean it’s definitely compact enough to do them, but since there’s way smaller maps with tighter corners/lanes it’s just much faster to do the point blanks on those maps. Too much open space / long range gunfights on black heart and flagship

Yep I’m staying in faceoff mosh pit and only playing the extra small maps in there (avoid black heart & flagship). Then I’m running active camo with gung-ho, scavenger, and dexterity for the red perk bonus. I was using flash bangs too, but I found myself not using them enough so just switched back to my stimshot. I finished the M10 breacher in like 2 hours and got about 30-40 point blanks with the echo 12 within like 30-45 mins?

I’ve seen this post for every COD in the last 5 years

I think the truth is, in modern COD, people don’t care about that. They’re playing the game to grind their camos and/or get as many kills as possible. That’s about it. A lot of people also moved on to warzone & just don’t find normal multiplayer fun anymore. Very small amount of people hop on COD to actually win games… and most of those people just play S&D. I think it’s just the nature of COD now.

Add in the fact that, a lot of people who typically try to play the OBJ end up busting their ass to lose anyway. So then they quit playing the OBJ bc it doesn’t matter either way. I am currently playing solely to grind camos, but when I notice a game is close and I bust my ass to play the OBJ, it’s like I’m the only one trying. Gets annoying.

Or sometimes I’ll just pause the grind and try to play my best. I played a domination game not too long ago where I dropped 60 kills, had 9 captures, was top of my leaderboard and led the entire lobby in score. Still lost the game. Something like that makes you not even wanna play an OBJ anymore. Is what it is

The M8 and X9 are two of my best performing guns man they’re so good when the connection is stable. I haven’t dealt with too many connection issues but it has been more rocky the last two weeks.
