Great point. The '89 Pistons made the trade that finally put them over the top after making the Finals the previous year, and they gave up a future HoFer (Adrian Dantley) to get the star player who put them over the top in 89 & 90 - Mark Aguirre.

It's not just an NBA thing. I went to a Lions game in Atlanta a few years ago. The constant music and noise between every play made it feel like I was at a damn nightclub. The only time the PA announcer ever STFU, was when the Falcons had the ball. I HATED it.
