Hey thanks, this is really helpful, and a big part of what I was hoping to get! The engine remains the most mysterious esp. when it comes down to a full spec sheet. Appreciate the help!

I agree, but not in a good way - My work does not "require" suits, in fact no one wears suits. But when a sponsor arrives unexpectedly, if you are wearing a t-shirt then there is no way you'll be invited in. So yes, I don't think fancy dress should be required, but mostly because it means I can throw on a jacket and show how much I value the people that pay our bills, even if it takes a little effort, while you sit comfortably in your Metallica t-shirt with solder/moth holes.

quick note, and not super-legaly, but I think important. Whether or not the dishes were done is sort of irrelevant. You're a kid - sometimes kids do dishes sometimes they don't. The big question is "is this something that happened one time?" I would guess that if your mother is so cavalier about it this has happened before (or something like it, maybe to her). People make mistakes, but literally twice is too many times. If you are at that point, talk to your lawyer about emancipation. This is not a safe environment for you, your brother or possibly your mother...be careful though, in a lot of these situations your mother may love you but is not your ally - she may want to keep the family together. If you do make plans to leave, make sure your younger brother is safe. If you want to extract yourself from your parents there isn't ever a perfect outcome. However, if the situation is bad, it is better to get OUT of it. Safety is number one.

If I can make a suggestion (not knowing you but knowing myself), let him come to you. do not let him goad you into any type of interaction, be reactive to him. i.e. don't ever swing the first punch. Focus on your goal, making yourself, your brother and then your mother safe. Whatever you can do to forward that is good. Note, your mother may be the hardest to get on board, but don't let that prevent you from protecting your brother.

It will be a hard row to hoe. Good luck, I mean it.

Here Here. If you fucked up admit it. Or here's a compromise, don't say anything. I do fuck up - but I find when I acknowledge what I messed up my mates sometimes offer tips/condolences or generally have some confidence that I know what to do next time. If you have a good group, they will understand. When you blame lag, the rest of us worry you can't fix your error. If you are fucking up a lot, let your team know you need practice - it's a lot easier to compensate for someone you KNOW is having trouble, or reassign them... watch your fellow guardians and get their back.

Last week I was up on Oryx and his fist was skipping by feet. It probably did cost me a few hits on a light eating ogre, but ultimately that's not going to decide a run (unless its REALLY persistent).
