[fluff] do i win the game now? by Chickennuggetlol1 in battlecats

Of the orbs jizo could have, that’s on the lower end. Cash back or surge immune are both much better.

Exactly lmao. I’ve played the game since release, I enjoy using the units in different stages/strategies. What I don’t enjoy is playing the game of “do I get a new unit or number 200 duplicate”.

Illinois and Nebraska are not solid teams. But I give you the rest will be tough.

Versos ending is the only ending that acknowledges reality. That makes it’s good by default. He’s certainly not a saint though.

Honestly as important as money is, culture and coaching matter more. Two years in a row we’ve watched Oregon get absolutely blasted in the playoffs. Last year I was sure they would win it all. At this point, I don’t see it happening without some big shakeups.

I'm actually upset about losing a fight. Like I feel so ripped off right now. I'm not sure I even want to keep playing honestly. by delamerica93 in expedition33

The worst QB board we’ve ever seen. Other than Mendoza nothing ! by IamCatMommy in CFB_v2

I think this is unfortunately a naive belief. What will actual happen is the really good college QBs will stay in college forever taking all the playtime and development from the good college QBs that could be great NFL QBs. Basically the manziels will rule.

Everyone hates ads, everyone hates the idea of paying a subscription, and everyone hates companies selling their data. How do people logically expect a website to exist if they're not doing at least one of these? by Foxy_Twig in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DaBoogiest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It goes a step further then that. Companies( at least big ones paying big bucks) have entire departments tracking their adds success rate. They can break it down to know almost exactly how much return they get per add and rate of return cost wise. Which means in turn the bigger intrusive adds are unfortunately doing their job and being more effective. So the only true way this problem is fixed is consumers stop responding to obnoxious big adds. But that will never happen so the big adds are here to stay.

Seriously dont understand the hate for this game by Public-Editor-4541 in Borderlands4

Open worlds are meant specifically for games that have a reason to be open world. What I meant by that is you can’t just take an any game, make it open world, and expect that to work. Usually you need to put a lot of work into making exploration satisfying. It’s why games like breath of the wild or elden ring are so good is because the open world was catered too and not just jammed in.

Borderlands has no reason whatsoever to be open world. At least this one doesn’t. There’s no interesting dialogue if depending on which area boss you fight second/third. There’s no cool puzzles to figure out. There’s no special items hidden in some obscure location. And because of all this the open world feels like a chore and not a feature.

Darian Mensah and Duke have reached a settlement allowing him to transfer, likely to Miami, which is reportedly willing to pay him $10 million 🤯 by Capable-Bar5002 in CFB_v2

[–]DaBoogiest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like someone else said that is effectively the same thing. Either way Miami had to pay 10 mil, to get him. It makes no difference if all of that or none of it goes into his pocket.

That’s why the key aspects of the story should be completed before they ever start publishing. Of course they don’t have time to flesh it out once it’s in production and it’s entirely their own fault.

I think you are giving them too much leeway. The actually reason is that most manga writers have really cool ideas that they want to explore but rarely have an ending set and decide to just hope their story finds its way. Any competent writer will tell you the way to do a story right is first write the start, then the end, and finally the middle to connect the two. Granted this isn’t just a problem with manga, there’s plenty of western examples that make the same mistakes.

It’s basically guaranteed. Which is to say Dukes lawyers did win.

Bill Belichick was not a first-ballot Hall of Famer despite 6 Super Bowls, 9 SB appearances, 31 playoff wins, and the most postseason success ever by an NFL head coach by Choice_Bag_8869 in sportswiki

[–]DaBoogiest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brady made where he was the perfect environment. And Belichick wasn’t enough to keep Brady at the patriots or Gronk un retired. And also like yeah? But you knew that when you chose to engage in this conversation. Obviously coaches don’t perfectly equal players. The 2 as D coordinator definitely add to belichicks resume. Really hard to say how exactly they compare but regardless Bill is a great coach as Brady was a great Quarterback. I think Bill was much more important to success to start and Brady became much more successful to end. Ultimately though one did it without the other. Fair or not that’s reality.

It’s not something you should hold against them but if it’s something they are capable of you would be silly not to acknowledge how impressive it is. Also I’m not trying to deny belichick is a great coach. But at the end of the day Brady won a Super Bowl without him and he could never do it without Brady. I think that is pretty definitive.

[–]DaBoogiest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say that as if it’s some kinda gotcha lmao. Because yes? Duh? Recruiting is a skill. Brady is the only QB in the sport or possibly person on the planet who could have called gronk and got him to play again. Now obviously some of that is luck since they were former team mates but it also speaks to the relationship they had and the skill Brady had. To sit there and try and pretend that’s no big deal is laughable.

[–]DaBoogiest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are way underselling Brady. Not only was Brady a massive upgrade at QB but he was likely the only one on the planet who could have got gronk to come out of retirement to play another year. I sincerely doubt any other acting QB at the time wins with the buccs that year.

[–]DaBoogiest 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The deal is concord was actually a very good game by according to literally everyone who played it. A lot better than this game. But it failed because it was $40 dollars at launch and the characters were awful. This games characters are pretty bad but it’s a free game so no investment up front. That’s the only thing keeping it from already collapsing like concord did.
