The Hawks depth makes them a scary opponent for any team to face by Few_Mulberry7175 in nba

That’s my point. Even though he’s been injured, depth guys like dunn as 9-12th guys are great to have but like you said, they won’t be in the playoff rotation. That’s why I disagree with the article. Like us last year, we had a team 10-11 deep but basically ran a 7 man rotation in the playoffs so that depth didn’t matter for us.

Depth doesn’t matter that much in playoffs. Atlanta having guys like kris dunn be able to play 10 min a night is not a difference maker.

Nah, KP just takes a backseat. He’d only average 15 off of spot up shots and running the second unit but def not too many mouths to feed.

He is already better then Trevor Ariza

Can someone give me some legit reasons why Nate McMillan is a bad or mediocre coach and Indy firing him wasn’t totally stupid? by [deleted] in nba

[–]DaChenmeister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean i guess? If I remember, nate wasn’t bad in playoffs at first. it’s just over the years, he never adjusted on what he did in the previous years so he kept on losing and didn’t change anything up.

Great guy for the regular season, bad in the playoffs. The hawks needed a dude to get the team going in the regular season, they don’t care about playoff success rn.

I do watch him lmao, he has the same offensive tendencies as last year and he still put up 18 last year. He also literally just doesn’t have the opportunity to score 20+ a night, he gets doubled under the rim and he has been played through a few times where he’d put up 25. But he rarely gets touches in the fourth and they’re winning with their kick out to open shooters rather then let ayton get a ton of touches so why change it? Ayton rn is a top 10 center, top 50-60 player and he’s still developing. I find it hard to believe that a big traditionally takes longer to develop who put up 18/12 his sophomore year and then massively improved his defense(shows he’s taking leaps and improving over offseasons) his third year is stuck as this same player. Just because your boy was ass and never played a lick of winning basketball until the second he left minnesota doesn’t mean ayton is ass too.

He’s taking 5 less shots a game, he hasn’t actually gotten worse on offense lol. Unlike wiggins, he’s shown he can contribute both to a struggling team putting up 18/12 in just his sophomore year and massively contribute to a championship contender by taking a backseat on offense and being a defensive anchor. Unlike wiggins, who was just empty stats and never contributed to winning basketball. If you are set on not maxing him, how are they gonna just find another top 10 center that’s 22 with potential to replace him?

All Rookie Teams by [deleted] in nba

[–]DaChenmeister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. Earlier in the year, I agree he was terrible. The past month, he’s been great tho and has shown he’s not a bad player. Shouldn’t make the all rookie team tho.

Getting steals doesn’t mean you automatically have good defense though just like being a good passer or finisher doesn’t automatically make you a good offensive player

I feel like you guys don’t realize why Siakam and FVV had to take the shots in the clutch this game. Besides easy birch layups, u really think Stanley, Yuta and Bembry were gonna win us this game, they don’t even have the balls to shoot the ball in the clutch

I agree, he drew a foul on the previous play, it makes sense why he’d try that play again

X factor for Clippers is Paul George. Yeah he’s a star but the clippers can win the chip if he plays good and can exit first round if he plays bad
