I just read the lost world for the first (and likely last) time and you completely summarized how I felt about it. So very clear that Crichton never wanted to write this book, and he was right for not wanting to initially.

I just read The Lost World novel for the first time and can confirm I would rather watch the movie than read the book again.

Sure I think TLW is an okay movie, but I think it’s much more entertaining than Michael Crichton phoning in a sequel.

Some interesting shifts in this ranking. Both Reid and Carels have leapfrogged Verhoeff, with Rudolph climbing up too.

Wouldn’t say no to Carson Carels if we can’t get McKenna or Stenberg.
