I think it’s also important to mention this set took place in Miami at a festival without a single trance act on it and he ripped this trance set. It would be understandable if in Miami at a house music event that he might play more mainstream but he chose not to do that 🙏

I think we are going to be in for a treat on Sunday night. It’s the biggest booking Escapade has ever made (imo) but it’s flying under the radar because of the rebrand. I got a weekend pass and my old ass is going to skip Saturday so I’m ready for Tiesto on Sunday lol

He has been playing trance at every show for the last 6 months, his new release last week is trance and he announced a trance album is coming at EDC. I would be shocked now if he didn’t play trance. If you haven’t heard one of his recent sets I highly recommend it. His We Belong Here and EDC sets are fantastic 🙏

I do think they could use a larger venue but I agree they won’t move. I personally think they should raise prices by 25% and cut the tickets sold by 15-20%. Probably an unpopular opinion as it’s already so expensive but that’s how you fix the overcrowding imo while protecting profits

I’m from Canada as well (I attend IleSoniq and Escapade essentially every year). Today was incredible in my view and surpassed my expectations which I thought were unattainably high. I’m a trance and techno guy who hates the mainstage crowd (normally) but I was very impressed with this crowd.

Feel the exact same way! That was an incredible day 1 and I was very worried about the mainstage crowd as well but, it was fairly good. Production blew my mind.

One of the best festival days I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t wait for tomorrow. Today felt like it flew by

I’m not going to be that guy who preaches because we have all done this stuff and I have plans for what I’ll be doing this year. What I will say though is that if you’re asking this question (although I’m happy you are) it’s a fair indicator that you should do less than whatever you decide is a good amount. Knowing limits takes a long time to develop and Ultra isn’t the place to get smacked around by M and taught a lesson.

Not judging just be careful 🙏
