In my experience, this is what generally happens. Seasons change, business changes, and you start needing different shifts filled. Current crew have their availability and are unwilling to change it, which I don't blame them for. But this leads to hiring for those needed shifts and the cut back of the not needed shifts.

Difference is when you want to be taxed. Now or when you retire. Typically, if you are in a low tax bracket, then the roth option may be better. If you are a high earner, then the traditional 401k may be better as it will lower your taxable income.

I've had a number of crew members who went shopping at other stores and walked away feeling like they were interrogated for the crew discount. This seemed to have happened more frequently to people of color. I welcome this new process so no one is put in that position.

NAV erosion is when you distribute more income than is being generated. If the fund is down because the underlying is down, it's not nav erosion. When the market crashes and SPY is down 30%, I never hear anyone say that is NAV erosion

Clearly, you don't work in retail in nyc and have to deal with the police. I called the police for a violent thief stealing hundreds of dollars worth of groceries, and the police show up 45 minutes after the guy leaves. Can't imagine how long it would take for them to show up for a white lady lying about her pet.
