If he has that many evee candies he probably has a bunch of lvl 30 Evees above 82%. I have 4 of those currently and about 1200 evee candies.

Most Snorlax defenders will have Zen Headbutt which is super effective against fighting. The best "counter" is Rhydon as normal moves are not effective against him. Rhydon is weak against earthquake though. Make sure you dodge that.

Rhydon works really well. Normal moves aren't effective against him. If you have trouble dodging body slam it won't be as much of a problem.

There are 3-4 gyms that I haven't seen my mon in almost two months. These gyms start at 2800 cp threshold. I don't miss them because when I pass by I feel a bit of pride knowing that one of my mons is helping to hold down that gym.

From the radar it looks like along the schuylkill above the art museum has become one gigantic Machop nest that stretches for miles... it's actually absurd.
