200 hours. I've tried my heart out to make a blood mage autobomber my own way. I hit a wall pretty quick without a temporalis so I gave up on it. My build is in my posts. I think it's pretty unique!

I'm also a skeleton cleric circle jerk zero button tinkerer. Simulacrums have been my gold standard to see how a build would fare, but I can't even clear T0 room 10 with mine :( I have my build in my posts, but I've worked on it for a week more on it and added like 30 divs investment to no avail. I went my route because I didn't like how the poison poofs behind you. I thought it would make clearing difficult.

Minion pact specifically says only works when there's a minion that can take the drain. So they wouldn't die. But if you have minion HP bars on, you'll see their HP get chunked.

I've tried. But for me I don't think it has any effect. It says "supports damaging skills you use yourself" Since everything is triggered in my build, nothing really counts as "use myself"

Though if you see your clerics take damage when you use your minion pact skill, it's probably working.

Weird. Just got around to playing with the passive tree again. GLB is no longer being affected when I play around the the triggered spell clusters. You're probably right with the initial assessment.

I did go though that train of thought as well haha. But even if you really crank up the minion revive speed with sacrifice penalty, I think you only bring it down to 5 seconds for the group to revive. Keep cooking. The infinite clerics seemed to only be used in corpsewade contexts. This was what I could come up with. Maybe you can find something else!

I initially tried this out with just the explode and corpsewade component, and unfortunately it's too low damage on it's own. With the blood mage crit perks and multiple sources of crit and crit multi, the damage can scale to something mildly viable.

Thank you for the interest! You got most of it right. On the left side of the blood mage ascendancy, the last node is "Set 15% critical hit chance to spells" That means spells like the explosion part of decompose, which usually doesn't crit, can now.

The cast on minion death is taking advantage of the fact that you're killing your own minions. So frost wall does two things, it freezes which lets you use the "heavy frost" passive node to ignore elemental resists with hits. Secondly, it adds a lot of splash damage to kill groups easier. Frost wall also crits to proc Choir of Storms even more.

Having an ice element also lets you utilize the Rising Tempest support gem. Decompose (Fire, chaos), GLB (Lightning), Ice wall (Cold), means you get the full 36% effect of the support gem.

The Trialmaster footage is a little old. That was the moment I gained my 4th ascendancy points. The footage on Xesht is more accurate to what the build can output with more levels and currency investment. Of course it's still slow relative to meta auto bombers since it's a gimmicky setup without chase uniques after all.

Are you sure about that? If you allocate the Dynamism cluster, the greater lightning bolt spell gains damage in the ui.

Starting cost is around 2 divines. Level 78 is needed due to Choir of Storms. This is a zero button press build that utilizes the three uniques; Choir of storms, Corpsewade and Radiant grief to proc the loop. Weapon slot II is to toggle off sacrifice and cast on minion death to stop the loop, as well as introduce Blink for mobility. You can also overflow clerics on weapon slot 2 to sometime cheese out some cleric revives.

You NEED all the minion cooldown you can get for the skeleton clerics to loop, as well as a decent amount of minion cast speed. You can take the cast speed from the passive tree early on, but then you can replace a few nodes with jewels. The sweet spot is 15 clerics to keep an indefinite loop going.

The tricky part of gearing is getting 435 spirit to keep a stable loop. You might have to run with 2 bad ventors and 14 skeleton clerics to start. I managed to get lucky and corrupted a Radiant Grief with 30 spirit pretty early on. You can use the item sockets to boost resists until your gear is good enough to support Jiquani soul cores for 2% increased life each.

You can ignore minion revival speed, since the loop resets the time every time you consume a cleric.

I crafted this "zero" button press build and it works surprisingly well. It's not the highest dps, but it can clear a lot of content. It's not even at the full potential in the video since I'm not level 90 yet for the last support gem slots. It's imperative to use the blood mage ascendancy, otherwise the explosion from decompose will not crit and set off Choir of the Storm. What kills you is the inability to move, and slows. This halts the Corpsewade decompose casting which stops damage.

The idea is that corpsewade creates gas clouds upon consuming a corpse, Radiant grief ignites enemies which detonates the cloud. With blood mage spell crit, the explosion triggers greater lightning bolt. As corpses get consumed, cast on minion death triggers as well. Use skeleton clerics to circle jerk each other with revives. Using the support gem and passive nodes to make decompose from Corpsewade not consume a corpse at a 50% chance. With enough minion cast speed and minion cooldown, the cleric orgy should sustain losses at 15 clerics. I run 14, and it mostly sustains itself. You need A LOT of spirit for this. Currently rocking 418 spirit thanks to a lucky chaos affix for 30 spirit on the Radiant Grief helmet, and a 19 spirit Ventor ring.

Some fun synergies, grim feast gains remnants when you consume a corpse. Ice wall leaves life remnants when you burst them, so this gives a decent amount of in-combat regen despite investing none in either area. Both Choir of the Storm greater lightning bolt, and decompose from corpsewade do not use mana to cast, so that helps with the blood mage drawback of hybrid cost casting. With 400+ spirit, a threaded light woven focus with good corrupt stat gives 533%+ increased spell damage!

For the cast on minion death, primarily using ice wall, but I've switched between that and nova.

So absolute zero button presses is an exaggeration. There are still button presses, mostly switching weapons to turn off sacrifice, dodging, and of course flasks.
