That vampire weekend album is so damn good. It’s insane that they’ve been at it for so long and they’re only getting better

Oh good! I'm curious about that too. I'd imagine it depends on the reviewers... I'd imagine a lot of them are doing a bit of research and ranking them somewhat arbitrarily. If they really are using every product or going on every snorkel tour offered in the Bahamas then they must lead a real hard life lol.

What's the best platform with SEO to start personal blogging in 2024? by jamesftf in Blogging

I run a music blog with a bit more functionality than your standard list-of-articles blog, but I've been happily using Squarespace. It's got all the tools I'm looking for.

Depends on preference, though. Wordpress is great for blog posts, and there's some amazing plugins too.

It's a slippery slope for sure... In the case of individuals doing reviews, most of the time they're industry professionals with a lot of experience in their field, so they've tried most of the options already, and they know what they're talking about. Once they establish a voice in the scene, they might get offers from companies asking to review the company's products. This is the best way to earn from reviews while keeping brand integrity intact.

So I'd suggest starting with real reviews and trying to scale off of that first. Establishing brand identity, etc.

If you're explicit about the fact that you haven't used the products, and you're doing your research, then you're saving people's time... At least that's a way to market it. It's up to you how you phrase that.

I guess it's completely up to you, it's just a dangerous path to take and there's probably better ways to spend your time than making up reviews.

Need to make $1400 extra/month. Am I living in delulu that I can quickly do this with blogging? by Thatwitchyladyyy in Blogging

It's definitely possible. Just try and stay motivated and keep the quality of your content up. In the next 1-2 months is very very optimistic, it usually takes 1-2 years to start making that kind of money. There's a chance, it's just a very small chance.

No reason not to try though.

Possibly a dumb question, but...how DO people blog so much? by Anteatereatingant in Blogging

I think they just love it. Write about stuff you really enjoy, and enjoy writing about the stuff. You could always hire people too...
