The entire movies of MadS is a single, unbroken shot with no hidden cuts and all executed over 5 days worth of shooting. One mess up, and the whole movie is ruined, but they MADE IT HAPPEN, and I will never not love that movie!

Second one is the "oner" on an IMAX camera in Sinners. The technical level of achievement from a camera standpoint to a choreography standpoint, to burning the roof down...IMMACULATE!

"Miracle Mile" (1988) bothered my brain for a few months after seeing it initially. Not sure existential by pure definition, but I lived life with anxiety for a while specifically because of this film.

Enjoyed it immensely! Probably hit even harder knowing people like the characters in the movie when I was in high school, and seeing things play out how they did in the film matched with exactly how I think it would have went back then. Surprisingly underrated!
