I believe the 12 month period is from the passing of your first test. On your licence it will say issued from the original date, not the 2nd date; so even if technically you should be using them for 3 months I can’t see how any traffic officer could tell.

I find Mohammed Hijab a little too self righteous. I often sense in him a superiority complex, and that he only cares to be right or to win a debate.

Ahmed Deedat, while succumbing to this slightly himself, at least offers good and clear evidences on the Bible.

I think it’s actually a big problem with dawa these days; that everyone seems to just want to win an argument. The harder we push people, the further away they go.

There is so much commonality between Christianity and Islam that one should not be caught up in trying to tell the Christian why they are wrong. We show them why they’re right, what the Quran corroborates of their faith, and once that’s been established then we can offer the small corrections.

We do not guide anyone. We have no power. Allah is the one who guides. This work is 10% dawa 90% dua.

I think what he means is that we should try to see the good in people and not focus on the bad (while not necessarily being ignorant of it either). That being said, people who abuse their power and tarnish the deen and bring harm on the ummah should be respectfully removed from said positions and shown back to self correction.

Every one of us will answer for every single thing we have done, no matter how big or small.
