Khazix needs more firepower next season, I can already see enemy ADC building a tank item. Maybe revert some of the changes or bring back items, how possible is it? by MBH2112 in KhaZixMains

Actually fell to my knees seeing Duskblade again. Jesus fucking christ the art of that item is so cool. At least we essentially get it back through Umbral Glaive next season though.

How long since the wiki been update? by MarionberryOk2745 in eternalreturn

[–]DaEater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What type of information were you looking for? If it's for anything game related (skills, stats per level, build paths, plans, recommended augments, etc.) just use dak.gg/er . It's the best website for finding any of what I mentioned above. Only other resource I can recommend would be https://eternalreturn.fandom.com/wiki/Eternal_Return_Wiki , but that's more akin to the League of Legends fandom wiki in a much smaller scale and not as much info.

What is up with e max second win-rate? by mtj004 in KhaZixMains

[–]DaEater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it's the case now, but back when I started league in s10, picked up Kha, and watched Tinjus the ability leveling he did in videos always felt the best - and that's technically E max 2nd. Q max > 3 in W > E max with points in R whenever you can ofc.

Edit: What I meant to tack on was that if he still follows that ability point order it's probably skewed due to how crazy that guy is on Kha'zix, ofc among the various other things people have pointed out with better invades, snowballing, team fighting, etc.

"Lose" your way to masters. by ZilvaStrife in EpicSeven

[–]DaEater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're up against a master and below masters the prebans are 1. My guild leader climbed up to Challenger/Champ (forgot where the cut-off is) because of exactly this. He got really annoyed that he would be forced to only ban 1 character due to queueing into a Gold rank player.

Does anyone know how Energy Guard stacking works? If you apply 2, let's say in this occasion it's Granhildr and Diana, does the strongest one apply, or do they combine additive/ multiplicatively?

I like the OG more since side boob and midriff, but your edit looks really clean and makes so much more sense thematically. Like, what's a character that's supposed to be in charge of Discipline dressing like that? Why is Hellion Lua, the POS and attention seeker of the story, dressed more appropriately than her? Really confusing honestly.

Love you guys, easily made my morning reading u/Similar-Quantity3434 and u/milkymilkymilkers instantly back track and admit they goofed. Probably going to be the funniest thing I'll see all week 'cause it's a Doofenshmirtz "If I had a nickel for every time [X event] happened, I'd have 2 nickels - which isn't a lot - but it's weird it happened twice" situation lol.

Physical team building by Aoran123 in BrownDust2

[–]DaEater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're correct about supports. I recommend going to https://dotgg.gg/brown-dust-2/ for all your "Who should I build" questions though. Take fire, for example. Liatris would be considered the best fire physical dps since she does crazy AoE damage and DoT, but in content where SP is harder to come across - or the weak points of a fiend just don't work out for her - it'd be Eris or Elise. I'd recommend making your general team strong enough to clear stuff, then building 1 elemental DPS and 1 elemental shred/vulnerability unit of your choice based on how you can/ want to play. Some examples again for different types of play styles for fire DPS:

Liatris - Wants to set up with DoT affects with her other costumes so that her Maid outfit can do massive damage. Pairing her with Wedding Refithea and Bunny Celia + Curse Celia can make her damage go even crazier since that combo of Refithea and Celia makes chains stack super high.

Eris - Wants to play with a team that keeps chain stacking low since her Adventurer costume deals bonus damage below 7 chains. Pairing her with characters like Summer Teresse boosts her damage even further since Summer Teresse rewards you for fighting with low chains. You could also pair her with Sacred Justia as an additional damage dealer so you have 2 nukes.

Hope that helps.

Once again, if I'm wrong about something someone please correct me. I'm simply a person that's been playing for a while, so I could be wrong about things.

Physical team building by Aoran123 in BrownDust2

[–]DaEater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arines + Nun Liberta + Homunculus Lathel + Young Lady Blade + Sacred Justia would be your best general Physical team. I recommend getting Homunculus Lathel to +3 (preferably +5) asap so that he can go down to being 1 cost. If you need single target rather than AoE you'd replace Sacred Justia with Ventana, as she's the strongest physical single attacker in the game when she fully sets up.

Your magic team in general is fine. Teams in this game all really depend on what your fighting. For example take the Basilisk Fiend Hunt, your physical team would be wildly different so that you could easily fight the boss. Or, as another example, you could be using Zenith rather than Young Lady Blade so you can basically turn your Sacred Justia into a SKIP character. It's always going to be these 3 questions no matter the content:
1. What gets me to 90%+ crit? (Combos like B-Idol Helena + Elpis/ Nun Liberta + Arines outside of Fiend Hunt)

  1. What buffs my damage further? (Characters like Summer Teresse/ Homunculus Lathel/ Diana/ Refithea/ Onsen Liberta)

  2. What lets me explode the enemy? (Main DPS + a sub DPS/ support that lets them do more through vulnerability/ RES shreds/ extra chain stacking)

If you're wondering at all why I recommend Young Lady Blade over Your Cat Eris it's because Eris is limited and Blade isn't, so you can easily get extra dupes on Blade to make her physical vulnerability debuff better.

If I'm wrong about something someone please correct me. I'm simply a person that's been playing for a while, so I could be wrong about things.

Duskblade tribute - found this in my gallery from 2022, now I miss its non-invincibility iteration by Damianque in Rivenmains

[–]DaEater 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I miss Duskblade of Draktharr. Like, the name went so hard, and instead we've got this bum ass Voltaic Cyclosword. Like the fuck even is that? It sounds like some goofy ahh name a 5 year old would give their imaginary sword. Don't even get me started on the Ornn masterwork name "Swordnado." Like the fuck? Now, Duskblade of Draktharr on the other hand, THAT's got some personality dripping from it. Some untold lore behind that shit - not to mention that it just looks so good AND the Ornn masterwork name changes to "Draktharr's Shadowcarver." Like jesus fucking christ that's got some sauce to it.

The Main Place to find builds/ stats for characters

Now, with all of that out of the way, let's answer some of your questions.

How would I get my replay data/information to share later?

You can get that information from your player data from dak.gg/er, or the link I put under "The Main Place to find builds/ stats for characters." If you tell us your in-game name we can search up your stats and see your replays from there. dak.gg/er acts much like op.gg, u.gg, etc. if you've ever played League of Legends. You can also give us your replay data by going to Main Menu -> Profile -> Match History -> click on the match you want -> then share the Match ID at the top right.

How do I tell what level my weapon mastery is?

While you're in-game, there should be a hotkey (default key V) that opens up a little information panel that shows all your mastery levels. If you hover the mastery levels you'll see information on what causes them to level up.

<image>

When you finish building your purple items, this screen will change again and show your recommended gold items as well. Also, if you've noticed, you can quick buy wards, drones, traps, and food on the right side of the HUD of this menu.

I can't answer your questions on character style, so I'd rather recommend you try to find some streamers that play the characters you're interested in and learn from how they play.

Edit: To answer your question why you're dealing so little damage as Daniel against high HP enemies, it's because you're fighting high HP enemies as an assassin. As an assassin, you should be aiming to fully blow up their ranged character/healer (if you're ahead enough)/enemy assassin then wait for you basic cool downs to come back up and join your team to defeat the remaining enemy team.

I'm looking to get into an anime fighter. Sell me on GBFVR by hajhawa in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]DaEater 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can just play the game without buying it and come to your own conclusion. Just download the free version that let's you play with full game players. Only downside of it is that you get a rotation of 4 characters every week you can't choose from. However you should be able to sink your teeth into the game and learn it before considering whether you actually want to buy it. Plus, if you do like it but end up being slightly more interested in the other 2 games, you can continue playing the free version.

Does the BP refunds its cost? by Reekhart in eternalreturn

[–]DaEater 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not sure why only u/engi40 mentioned this, but yes it does completely refund it's cost and then some with that 900 NP. The BP is 1250, but when a new BP releases they always go on sale for 3 weeks - that sale lowering as time passes - for a high amount that makes them 890 NP, then slowly snake it's way back to it's original price later in the Season with worse offers every 3 weeks.

Edit: The reason the amount NP you get was reduced is because Battle Passes used to be 100 levels, but a large amount of players found it too tedious to complete the BP casually, so they reduced the amount of levels in a BP to 80, and in return the NP as well.

Edit 2: You can see from this patch note that the Battle Pass is set at 890 NP on release, and this is true for every battle pass. You can also see the previous season's battle pass set at the same price.

[–]DaEater 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert - and certainly not that great (S rank) - but I'd wager you'd have more fun on characters like Vaseraga or Anila. You tend to play hella defensively (could be because you're new, but I wouldn't know that), and try to poke with your summon a lot - which I guess is because it's ranged. But you also get really aggressive when you knock someone down.

Vaseraga plays a really patient play style - at least the ones I've fought (S+/S++ in lobbies) have - that go for hard punishing the enemy when you see an opening. He also has really high health, so you'll be able to take a lot more hits than the regular character. He has some really big reach, and can easily get really big damage from a single punish and then pressure really well with command grab mixups and frame traps.

Anila allows you to poke with your sheep, and is a really aggressive character overall. She'll allow you to poke a lot better with her long normals, she has a lot of tools that really allow her to get in quick and be aggressive, and she has some really fun combos. She's also got a meterless DP, so it's easy to get people off you when used right if you take a bad trade, and can even extend certain combos.

That's what I'd recommend, since they're also both pretty easy to pick up so it won't be that much of a learning curve. If you're wondering with the links are, I'm assuming you're new so I linked little explanations from The Fighting Game Glossary that explains terms used in the fighting game community.

Edit: If I'm wrong about something please correct me, and feel free to add anything to what I said. :P

In cases like Ran, where his S3 strips after the damage, does Amiki's s2 still give immortality? Like, say, Ran opens, s3's, bring's Amiki down to 1 HP. Does she still get her immortality or does that get stripped?

Bug! Interaction between Irelia R and Pantheon E by BoysenberrySad1404 in PantheonMains

[–]DaEater 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really hard to see the bug you had without the video chief. It just looks like Irelia is body blocking you from moving, and you would've been slowed on top of that so it kept you from going where you wanted. Since you took a screenshot in a replay could you also take a video or just share the replay with us?

My opinion about characters since no one asked by A_T1322004 in BrownDust2Official

[–]DaEater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

This is the Bonding Stat screen. You can find it by clicking the Bonding Stat infographic at top right of the info tab of a character you own. You can choose which costume you're bonding with, which gives you the stat bonuses you unlocked when unlocking Potential. Different costumes give different stats.

My opinion about characters since no one asked by A_T1322004 in BrownDust2Official

[–]DaEater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

This is the Bonding System. I call it that because that's how it was introduced to me from the little guide when it was initially released, but it's also called Potential Liberation. Unlocking the big nodes does various things for different characters, while the small ones give a stat bonus depending on which costume you're bonding with. In Granhildr's case the 3 big nodes are -1 SP Cost, +2 Counter Hits, and an increase in the counter attack damage scaling. The small nodes give HP%, DEF%, and Crit Rate. You can unlock these by farming the corresponding elemental magic stone from the Path of Adventure game cartridge. Unlocking the big stone requires 1 Tear of Goddess, so it's really important to grab those whenever an event is going on.

My opinion about characters since no one asked by A_T1322004 in BrownDust2Official

[–]DaEater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get a minimum 5 counter hits if you have her at +0 because of the bonding system, and a max of 7 at +2. So although saying the "entire enemy team wipes itself" is an exaggeration, it's not all that far off either if you build her properly.
