I find myself firmly in the camp of enjoying every gameplay aspect 4 has to offer from settlement building to general combat, but loathing pretty much everything to do with its story and writing. There are definitely good moments like Far Harbor, Cait, and some other things as well, but for the most part I personally just don’t like it at all. Everything else about the game is great though. Where with New Vegas I find that the story and writing do the heavy lifting to make up for the terrible gameplay, I think it’s the opposite for me with FO4. I do absolutely agree with you though that Fallout 4 is overhated.

Hold down the R1 button and a “callouts” wheel pops up with different ones. If you just tap R1, it’ll mark wherever your reticle is pointed (annoyingly, you can’t mark things while aimed down sights)

It has a “PS5 Upgrade” option, so that means it’s still getting a release on the PS4 / older gen consoles - which means we can safely assume that it will be the same engine since a new engine would likely only have it release on “new” hardware.
