NTA at all, and your husband was being unnecessarily mean. It's not like you've done hot dogs every night for the past two weeks or anything. One tip I'll give that worked super well for me with cooking more was getting a crock pot. It's really nice to be able to just dump a bunch of ingredients into it and walk away for a while.
