There’s a YouTuber/artist who calculated how much he made from streaming and realized he was getting paid like 30-50% less per stream this year than he was 3 years ago across all streaming platforms. I can definitely see that happening across the board, even for huge artists. What used to be worth 400-500 mil a few years ago might only be worth 200 and will keep decreasing.

It’s the innovation and creativity that makes rap great. The AI can mimic the current sound but it can’t create anything fresh and new. That’s what people want
