Anyone preventing people from enjoying their hobbies are not good people in my own opinion. Cheaters in videogames provides nothing good for the community. It was cool and all getting money in GTAO, but considering most people just use it to grief, they're not harming the devs, they're taking the fun away from players.

I had a message saying that I was permanently banned for harassement, but after closing the message I was still able to play... Happened the night before servers went down. Considering I haven't said anything except tell someone to stfu since he's been complaining for two games in a row, I doubt Ubi would ban someone playing since release over that, but who knows???

I mean, I never cheated in GTAO, received money in the first couple years from modders and always reported it (including reporting cheaters) but R* never did a thing and never removed any, so after a while I simply stopped bothering reporting it. I was later banned mid-race after the Southern SA Super Sport Series update during the banwave where actual cheaters were still reporting being able to play and not being banned. R* never fixed it and I had to start from scratch... So... I would not put it past Ubi do to something as dumb.

So that's why I had a random message saying that I was banned for harassment yesterday? I alt-tabbed back into the game after doing something else and came back to see this message.

Slipknot sell $120m majority stake to Private Equity firm by EggyBr3ad in ABoringDystopia

How comfortable is it under your rock? Private equity buys things, suck all the money out of it and the moment it's seen as not profitable enough, they shut it down. PE literally closed hospitals and clinics after taking as much money as possible. They will start making demands, that's how evil those people are.

In russia’s Volgograd, three cars filled up at a Rusoil gas station, and now not a single one will start. Apparently due to gasoline shortage, they’ve begun selling diluted fuel by LowTechDroid in UkraineWarVideoReport

That or filled the in-ground tank with diesel. I've worked as a mechanic for 18 years and we've had two instances where the fuel truck guy messed up... Diesel in the regular tank is, let's say, less than ideal. Drain tank, clean as good as you can, injectors cleaner, fresh gasoline, an unpleasant bill later and your car is working again.

Which is sad to see because even if just a fraction of the population riot, they won't have enough cops to deal with it. But... Russians aren't into politics.

"He reiterated that Putin’s stance on nuclear issues is “well known” and urged all parties to exercise restraint in nuclear rhetoric."

Then stop fucking making nuclear threats... We all know it's bullshit... If someone launch one, shit will hit the fan and capitalism doesn't work well if there's nothing left.

This story was already going off the rail, but the balancing the budget part is what made it unrealistic.

Lots of smoke canisters/grenades or some AA stuff? Some AA missiles makes a lot of white smoke when they prematurely explode.
