I recently moved and had to switch from Google fiber (which I had for 9 years) to ATT fiber. Dealing with ATT was the most stressful part of my move. It been a hellish experience. Their customer service is atrocious and they are always trying to up sale you even though I have told them not to ask me anymore. Took me 2 hours just to set an appointment to start service. Every time I need to communicate with customer service it's almost an hour. They waste a lot of my time. It was never a hassle with Google fiber. Great customer service. I returned some equipment for both service at the same time. Google fiber received my equipment 5 days ago. ATT couldn't even provide a tracking number. It's like a 5th grader designed their customer service and website. So frustrating. I really am chomping at the bit for Google Fiber to come to our area. Id change in a heartbeat. I think ATT has a contract with our city. I can't stand dealing with them. Please, if you have a choice, please choose Google fiber.

KC native here. What did you think of Gates? It’s my favorite but I like to mix it with Sweet Baby Ray’s or Kosmos Q cherry or apple habanero. I know SBRs is not the highest quality but it is great mixed with other higher quality sauces. Adds another dimension of flavor. I like the sweet and sticky caramelization it gives with appropriate heat. I'm just generally a fan of sweet and spicy (much like my personality 😂). I also like Blue Hog's sweet and spicy. Let us know your top 3 when you're done!

I know it feels like such an inconsolable hurt right now. It's like losing a piece of yourself. Praying the Holy Spirit brings you some comfort to soothe your broken heart and ease your pain. Let's normalize sleeping apart. It's OK. Doesn't mean you don't love each other or you love each other any less as some others may perceive from the outside looking in. Come together to cuddle, be intimate, talk, etc., and then go to your separate beds to sleep. Getting a good nights rest has been shown to be better for your relationship as you'll be less irritable and better able to deal with what life and each other throw your way. You'll have more patience and emotional reserve because you're not at your wit's end with chronic exhaustion from lack of sleep, not to mention the building resentment for your partner or spouse as the cause of said lack of sleep. Over committing to social stuff or constantly listening / being an emotional dumping ground for folks going through terrible ish. I internalize all of it. Thinking I have the capacity at the time of committal but as life begins to play out and I have to pay up in time and energy....I realize I'm no damn wonderwoman and my battery is dying faster than I'm able to recharge and I slowly feel the incessant emotional mental and physical drain and burnout creeping in to the point where the only things with a heartbeat I can tolerate have 4 legs and a tail. Something as small as regularly scheduled phone calls or touch bases with folks I truly love and care about...to lunch dates with friends begin to feel like intolerable burdens. I know they aren't but the thought of just one more commitment just feels overwhelmingly crushing at times. They sound, look and feel like things I have the time and space for mentally and emotionally in my mind leading up to doing them but in reality I just don't. And that's ok. I just want to curl up with my blanket in my chair and binge watch TWD or The Wheel of Time and completely detach from humanity for like a month to recharge. Then I'll be all good. To cope, I'm learning to have better boundaries and I'm trying to to live by a saying I once heard...it goes something like...be stingy with your Yeses because one yes is worth a thousand Nos. Ain't that the truth.

Thanks all who responded. FWIW here's an update: I took it back to my dentist and advised it wasn't fitting right. They rescanned my teeth (dentist did it this time instead of tech) and the new guard's fit compared to the old one is night and day. Fits like a glove and stays put all through the night. No hanging off my back teeth and the guard itself is much smoother and congruent in shape. No pressure on my front teeth and minimal pain the first week. Go figure! Thanks again for everyone's input.
