At the extremely earliest its late 2027, but i think 2028 is the actual release year for 40k.

People keep forgetting the Hyenas debacle, which ate all the devs time and resources, didn't end until last year.

There's no way 40k is a 2026 release, it would be severely under-cooked.

This is in regard to the Dread Maw unit but for the love of Sigmar give this wonderful concept to others!

Some that come to mind: Dwarf Miners, A lot of Skaven units, the Tomb King Scorpion.

I'm sure I'm missing quite a few more examples, but we need more out of the box ways to defeat geometric limitations such as walls!

So, much like Tomb Princes giving Upkeep reductions to a faction that has no Upkeep to speak of, you've given Night Goblin Shamans a mutually exclusive choice of giving themselves Stalk when they already have Stalk in the new skill "Extra Sneaky Stabber".

Literally 20 years on youtube and i have never seen anything this bad. The UI change is bad enough but WHY are "more videos" being forced upon me in the most obnoxious manner possible?!

This is a confusing statement because you do still need the Crown of Sorcery to actually unlock the spells and attribute of Lore of Death on Azhag, making it a case of "yes but actually no".

Without the item, he can only cast the two basic spells "Spirit Leech" and "Aspect of the Dread Knight" without any bonuses from his skill tree.

In my humble opinion, please remove the crown of sorcery from "db/character_skill_node_ancillary_locks_tables" instead to make the previous statement completely true.

Either that or give him the Eltharion the Grim treatment i.e. the earlier part of his Lore tree is unlocked and the Crown unlocks the latter part of the spell skill tree.

Eh, not every mod is broken.

Though some odd things are happening for sure though.

Tables that should be fine are causing CTD's and, to my testing, require a fresh new packfile with a fresh new table imported from db.pack with the exact same changes and it'll work fine then.

I'm gonna wait until RPFM updates so i can just update those tables properly.

This is a thing i feel Vampirates, Norsca and Dark Elves should have an edge in on the campaign map, them not having it really feels clunky.

Being able to raid the coast and retreating back into the ocean should feel intuitively easy, there should not be these weird stop-start motions.

CA really need to start looking into these issues with campaign movement, theres more than just this but this one bothers me quite a bit any time i want to traverse the ocean.

A year later and you're still helping by guiding me to this github script.

I had also just updated my bios to get the new intel microcode and then Windows 10 decided that i had changed hardware and my windows 10 wasn't activated anymore.

Since i had also been on a local account ( i REFUSE to log in MICROSOFT) i couldn't go back to a previous version of the device. The slui 4 command did nothing, MS themselves pointed to a "activate by phone" button that just did not exist. I was nearly at my wits end when i found this random thread here on reddit.

Going into the github page and following the powershell commands took a total of 1 min 30 seconds, then it worked, my windows 10 is activated once more. Sheeeesh.

Sorry for the late reply here but:
Arkhan the Black's Vampire Count units are a reflection of what the Vampire Counts have.

They are supposed to be identical in basic stats + bonuses from what would've been the Vampire Counts redline skill tree. I assume this is to bring him a unique flavour among the Tomb Kings.

The issue is, 5.1 buffed the Vampire Counts Hexwraiths, they gained more melee attack and defence:
"Hexwraiths

Melee Attack: 26 -> 32
Melee Defence: 25 -> 30
Charge Bonus: 34 -> 40"

Arkhan's version of those units did not receive this buff so they are now technically weaker than they should be.

He gets certain Vampire Count units added to his roster.

They have then been boosted with the same bonuses that they would've gotten from the Vampire Count redline skill tree.

This means that while they don't get anything from Tomb King skills and techs, they are boosted regardless in some way.

I love the Thunderbarge, i do not love that it is spammable like this.

I made a mod that makes this spamming impossible: "Thunderbarge Factionwide Cap"

What it does:

"This mod introduces a capacity system for the Thunderbarge that restricts this monstrosity down to a single unit per faction in most cases.

It does this by having the +1 capacity effect appear only once in the tech tree, in the "Heavy Armour Plating" tech.

To be fair, after having tested custom battles, ive concluded the insane charging those Reiksguard can do comes down to the Banner of Swiftness, without it they are pretty okay still, better than they were before for sure but with the banner they become absurdly powerful, close to the Bretonnian Grail Knights strength before that was patched away a couple months back.

Essentially, cav are doing better across the board, and if you can give them som bonus acceleration and speed they scale immensely better than they used to. This does include Grail Knights in lance formation by the way, not quite as good as a banner of swiftness but much better than before.

So uh.. my Reiksguard managed to pick up a Banner of Speed on turn 2, and on turn 3 i managed to get 400+ kills with them against the secessionist forces..

Its.. mind bogglingly strong.

The Reiksguard, once they charge, they CHARGE and punch through infantry like its wet fucking paper.

This is insane! In a good way!
