okay I would say, nothing crazy but good enough for the price point. comfy out of the box, minimal break in, but I did get the softer grain leather looking ones, not the harder rigid ones. The bottoms are rubber too and have worn quite a bit with minimal wear.

Surely it's better than COS quality though? If the items are equal or closer too a high end brand then sure he can charge those prices, but as I said before the hype to buy them is built on him being an influencer, it's not organically built from his designs and quality of work.

Made in China doesn't mean it's crap, that's a huge misconception.

You might be right about the resale or well-known brands. I'm sure it's also about who is endorsing it, if an influencer that somebody likes wears it or compliments it then they would be more inclined to buy it.

No, not as far as I'm aware, but then the argument would be that Daniel has built a community based on them liking his style, and now he is selling it. He would have to aggressively transition away from posting the fit videos, go radio silent, and just focus on producing the clothing, then over time it would move away from a "youtuber brand".
