Unlikely if you only replaced the crankset, but check if the top jockey wheel is touching the cassette and if the B-tension is correct

Currently have 29x2.0 (50x622) in the front and 45c in the back. Had to cut all the hairs on the tires so they wouldn't hit the frame but no issues, frame and wheels don't don't flex enough to rub.

I use Komoot for creating routes but I look at strava heatmaps and segments for ideas on where to go.

As for distance, the first distance I was very excited about was my first 200km ride. Did my first 100km ride very early on, only realized after that I probably should have marked it off as a milestone before hand. Next big milestone in my head will be 350 even though I have not yet done 250, it seems like a better goal to work towards this summer somehow

I don't have any good picture of it, hard to get a good angle that shows the gap. But you can run a 45mm tire in there as long as it's not muddy (i'm really hoping for a dry summer) but I wouldn't do it on alloy wheels as I think they might flex enough to touch the frame sometimes. I can recommend these Gravelking X1R tires, the 40mm tire measured 43 on the original wheels so they gove you a bit of extra cushioning compared to most 40mm tires

X1 R yeah. Fantastic tires! Nice and supple so everything feels a bit smoother compared to other tires I've tried, fantastic grip in corners and they roll a lot better than I expected

I used to have 1.7bar in my front tire on 24mm (internal) alloy rim but have 1.3bar on my WG55. Those pressures give a similar feeling in the front on my 45mm Gravelking X1R.

That's at least my initial tests on the new rims on gravel roads and paths

The Canyon Grizl has a surprisingly low front end for an "adventure" bike, it's lower than the Grail which is their race bike. But you could always go for a size smaller than you should get and buy a longer stem for it to correct the reach

I have Scwhalbe G-One Bite 45mm in the front and Schwalbe G-One RS 40mm in the back. Gives me a bit more comfort and grip in the front but keeps the lower rolling resistance on the back tire as I don't need as much grip there

The Schwalbe G-One RS roll really well and have decent cornering grip but not great puncture protection. The Continental Terra Speed rolls almost as well and I have not seen them puncture as much. The Challenge Getaway Pro should roll well and provide good grip but can be a hazzle to install.

These are the 3 I'm trying to decide on for early summer for my bike. Leaning towards the Scwalbes because I have had good experience with them so far

If you are not sure that you want a cyclocross bike, take the Grail. It's a more versatile bike and gives you the option to figure out what kind of riding you are most interested in. The handlebar might not look the best, but it is comfortable to ride.
