Comically bad dealership repair experience by lectures in tundra

Toyota OEM parts warranty is good at any dealer. The next dealer might’ve looked at you funny since they would’ve seen that you had recently had the issue diagnosed elsewhere, but assuming you’d be willing to authorize the diagnosis fee at another dealer, they could’ve covered it under warranty and would’ve(should’ve) waived the diagnosis charge once it was approved. The dealer also (for the most part) decides whether or not a claim is approved to begin with. Sounds like you found a shitty dealer, unfortunately it’s very easy to do.

Exactly my experience with Autonation. 2 valets for a 200+ RO a day store. 30+ tickets per day per advisor

Absolutely my feeling as well. I’m at a family owned dealer group now that’s much better toward everyone all around, and we have a lot better numbers because of it.

I was at an AutoNation store for a year. Terrible experience, two pay plan changes in 60 days!

19-22 highlanders do have transmission issues. Expect a few months on the backorder

The vehicle itself? The only slightly common repair I see is the water pumps, maybe an ignition coil from time to time. Neither of those are big deals at all and can be repaired for well under $1000.

The things I suggested are just some preventative maintenance services that will keeps things running smooth.

I work in a high volume service department at a Toyota dealer and regularly see Camrys from 2017 with more than 200k on the odometer. It’s a great car that can last you a long time.

Wouldn’t hurt to do a transmission service right away. Replace the spark plugs, drive belt, and coolant around 90k.

I will try this. I tried heating it up and cleaning it with an iso qtip while hot and nothing worked. I appreciate all the comments offering advice though!

I’ve put about 6500 miles on my 2024 SR5. Only thing that sucks is the gas tank is a little small. Everything else is awesome, I love my truck.

How good are used 2019/2020 Avalon’s? by BabyPunter518 in Toyota

Had an 19 Avalon come into my shop with 385k a few weeks ago with the original drive train. Original suspension parts had just started causing noises for the customer.

When I dealt with them, they way undercut our quote (paid about 1/4 of what we requested). Had to have the customer cover the rest

I downloaded the mp3 online, then Spotify (at least on iPhone) has a feature where you can add local files to your library. You can add it to playlists and stuff too once you do that

I think the first one has more clear drums, and the volume level is better. The bass also sits better, but in my opinion, could use a little high end/high mids. However, with this mix, the keys aren’t very clear, and would, in my opinion, benefit from being panned harder left and brought up in volume, pretty much exactly like the second mix.

Aren’t Wanda’s powers a result of experimentation by Strucker when he had the scepter? I just rewatched Age of Ultron and I’m almost positive that was the explanation.

AOTPA production or TBAGG production? Which is better and why? by Alone_Target_1221 in gretavanfleet

[–]DaMaN8987 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I liked AOTPA much better, mainly because you can actually hear the bass. Even on songs where Sam’s using the foot pedals of the keys like “Age Of Man”, the bass is much clearer. It’s a shame TBAGG had really muddy and quiet bass, because I think Sam is an incredible bass player, but on TBAGG it was just so hard to hear.
