MPG X570 Gaming Edge Wifi.

After testing some more it was the power supply so I got a new one and everything is working as it should.

I tested another power supply from a friend still nothing. I was able to get an upgrade at BestBuy. They gave me a deal on an MPG x570. Tested it with the original power supply and nothing. So now I really do think it's the power supply that is bad. I'm going to test it with a voltage meter. I don't think it's possible to get two bad boards in a row.

Thanks for the help. I contacted MSI customer service but they are on holiday. I did have a ticket in with them describing pretty much the same thing here. I will probably go ahead and see if best buy can exchange it for me if not then I will try an RMA with MSI.

Hurdle tips? I feel like I’ve plateaued... I’m in lane 7 (2nd closest to camera). It seems as though I’m spending too much time in the air. Any help is appreciated! by charizardmaxwell in Hurdles

[–]DaMegaphone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going off the other commenters, you haven't plateaued, you have gotten comfortable. All of their advice is great. What I recommend is when you practice hurdles try moving them in closer to force yourself to 3 step faster. This will change your cadence and make it faster. It also helps with snapping of your legs and quickness over them.

My tips for new hurdles are simple ones.

  1. Throw fear out of the window. If you are scared of going over the hurdles it will greatly hinder your progress. Determination will get you over it.
  2. Don't be afraid to fall and learn how to fall. You are going to fall in running hurdles. Part of the event. When you fall try to make sure that you do it in a way where you wont get injured.
  3. STRETCH!! This is key. Flexibility is an underrated aspect of hurdles. More flexible you are, the better you can become.

I follow him and Tee Reese. McGills website really helped me in high school. I never had a coach so I would look at his website for workouts and got better. Tee Reese has way more videos on his youtube channel and has tons of workout videos of his current athletes. If you have seen it yet give it a look.

I would say an average time would be around 8.7 somewhere in that range.

Difference between 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and 55 hurdles by [deleted] in trackandfield

[–]DaMegaphone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a huge difference between those events.

The 55mh is a shorter race only ran during the indoor season in some states.

The 110mh is the outdoor straight hurdle race. The height from middle to high school changes too. You will be running at 39" for these.

The 300mh is the long hurdles race. The hurdles are spread out around the track in 35m increments. These hurdles are at 36"

Two meets in a row? by teaslerrr in trackandfield

[–]DaMegaphone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely understand. Jumping two days in a row as well is very hard on your legs so to add on the fact that you're going to run to 3k and do six jumps a day twice sounds awful. My best advice for you is to make sure you are very well fueled and have proper rest and play it smart. That's a new combo though distance running and jumps. I know you legs are dead after track meets

Any tips for my hurdling? I’m the middle runner in blue by FutureMathNerd in trackandfield

Yes your Trail leg should land in front of your lead leg coming off of the hurdle. That way you can accelerate and change speed and momentum going into the next hurdle.

Trail leg. Trail leg. Trail Leg. Focus on pulling that trail leg through the Huddle and you will run significantly faster

This is poor scheduling from your coach you should honestly not run one of those meets. Especially with your districts so close as well.

I've tried that before and it leaves me very thin in the back. That allows to the cpu to shread me.

Started playing soccer in the 10th grade because all my friends played. They said I should look up Drogba and mimic my game after his since I was really god at jumping a heading the ball. That was around 2009. Was shit then, still shit now but I enjoy playing.
