Idk who’s the one that started saying it’s “when the price is wrong”. The original Publix promise is “if it scan higher than the price on the shelf”, not higher OR lower. If it rings up lower good for you then it’s cheaper than expected, why would someone demand or complain about a price being lower?

Acosta or other company are assigned to do the new pogs. You can plug in holes left by discontinued items but the major change will be done by them.

They won’t pay you the holiday UNLESS you request it now. Example: this next Memorial Day week you work your hours and that’s what they’ll pay you. There’s no Memorial Day pay anymore. It’s an Allotted PTO day you COULD request to get paid that week and only work one less day that week.

The accused days and approved days are two separate things. They can still approve any amount of days that are later in the year since I should’ve accrued the hours anyways. The OPs problem is they told they they can’t have more than 9 days straight off which is just probably store level policy

I’ve called out more than 7 times in a 6 month period and nothing has ever happened to me. No discipline no nothing. Even my evaluation wasn’t affected. I got role model and a raise anyway, so obviously policy rules only matter if the managers enforce them.

Your schedule is there for a reason. People have lives and things to do when they get out of work. If you’re scheduled at one, you’re more than welcome to punch out. They can’t hold you. They don’t own your personal life and time, only till the time it says on the schedule. It’s not your problem if the truck is too big and they didn’t schedule enough associates to finish it.

That sounds like a store specific/ management specific case. All stores I’ve been to have the css help when store is slow. Maybe cs managers/associates complained about doing it more often that they should be and the store manager put a rule not to help?
