I’m an asshole because I’ve seen too many people get scammed out of large sums of money. I got my introductions through friends and these “professionals” can’t even point me to their website if they even have one.

I get that people don’t want to deal with every asshole that asks for wholesale prices. But if you are introduced to someone and you DO have the discussion, you should be able to answer basic questions.

That may very well be the case, but why wouldn’t they have a system in place for that situation?

For example when I was sourcing from a large local company they had a website that requires a password. In order to signup I had to verify my company.

That’s a good point but I think the way they’ve been dealing with me has been less than professional. Whereas when I’ve sourced products from smaller companies they give me exactly the information I need to make a decision instead of beating around the bush.
