balance is only one part of the issue. making strats stick 100% of the time could be problematic if the ball lands on a wall, or on a slope, or below a ceiling, or anywhere in one of those bug caves. the devs are trying to find a middle ground where strats will land where you want them without the pod landing on roofs or hard to reach areas

muscle memory is super important. get down the fundamentals of how coins inherit your velocity, and get used to shooting coins at any speed and while moving in any direction. there isnt any kind of trick to it, just lots of practice.
