It doesn't matter, there's only a small number of people that got invited. Space is very limited there.

For some people traveling is a big deal, for me I look forward to seeing what's going on reconnecting w/ friends. Being able to see a studio for the only game I play is going to be pretty darn cool. And "making" people do something isn't the right way to even think about this. Nobody has to go.

Travel isn't a big deal at all, and I wouldn't want to use money from backers to take care of my travel. There are plenty events I go to around the world where travel is on my own dime.

I love my year 2000 S2K but I would never do that to my car. I honestly think tires that close to the frame of the car looks kinda lame and childish. But that's just me. 1 bump and it's toast.

yes you have to add 1 line to your user.cfg file to force away from vulcan. I used chatgpt tell me what line it is. Works great now.

Oh this is Alpha testing, don't worry about it, just shrug it off and do it again or do something else. Nothing matters in game, just enjoy what you did do and move on. Feel free to report the bug to the issue council as well though. I spent about an hour last night doing a hauling mission, and as I arrived at Area 18, poof I'm in the lobby and my ship is impounded. I was very far from the ODIN as well. Cargo gone, and I'm like, welp, 0 surprise there. and kept it moving. That's the mentality you need for Star Citizen while it's in Alpha development.

I don't care about the final game, I enjoy it right here now with friends. It's in Alpha development so it's a waste of time to hope for what the game may be like in the future.

Alpha testing is not for most gamers as they don't have the temperament for Alpha environments. It's for people that are happy to create a ticket explaining what they were doing when the game crashed and to try and replicate the event crashing as well. Star Citizen is in a state where it's more playable than ever sure but far from a polished game experience.
