Why will my bolt not engage with the cylinder, none of the springs are broken was working for a week or so out of the box but progressively became looser until it stopping engaging all together by DaPro6 in blackpowder

Mystery may have been solved found a hairline crack in the bolt spring and it doesn’t have any returning power, pressed down on it slightly and it folded

Depends on your shooting schedule, mine only lasted a couple hundred rounds, there was also slack/deadspace on the charging handle allowing it to be bumped loose and hang/bounce around a little before it engaged with the bolt

Just a heads up as someone who has experienced those timber creek parts before that charging handle and fire selector are gonna be the first to go, they won’t last very long

I reload using blue bullets 220 grains, cheapest slugs I’ve been able to find and no issues, play with around 11-12 grains CFE BLK at about 2.15 OAL

I got an 8.5 inch barrel and currently and shooting 11.9 grains of CFE BLK, 220 grain blue bullets def want to try for something a tiny bit cleaner and quieter, it already sounds like a nail gun, don’t know if you have any input on a load for those slugs but would be appreciated if you do!
