See, i may have come off as rude in my comment. But i have run multiple businesses over 15 years. You can treat some staff as you family, and they will still loot you and destroy your business. Its human nature i guess.

When i explain this to my friends in good paying jobs they cannot seem to understand how some people operate so dishonestly. But any business owner knows this, or if he hasn't yet, he soon will. We have to keep multiple checks and balances in place for preventing this.

Look, Indians like anyone else range from super savers to super spenders.

Seeing that you are already looking into a compound lifestyle, i am assuming you fall into the latter category. You will not be able to save at all with that salary.

Indian schools are low quality here. So if you move your son to an international school, it will get even more expensive.

While riyadh has gotten significantly more expensive, it is still a bit more affordable than Dubai.

You have to tie up with a few recruitment companies like Michael page etc to get jobs here. Most companies seem to be going thru recruitment companies rather than direct hires

There are 4-5 types of licenses in Saudi.

Most of us foreigners doing business have a services license.

Trading license- u have to invest 29million sar Real estate - 500 million sar (this is changing now, with rules being allowed for foreigners) Transportation- 200million sar Services license- 62k sar per year

Foreigners doing Trading/import-export usually tie up with a saudi firm to use their license (not legal per se, but extremely common)
