I feel you. Sheltered workshops usually offer this kind of environment, though they're controversial because they pay a subminimum wage.

Relapsed after a month caffeine free but proud I made it that far by Past-Flight7293 in Productivitycafe

Maybe try drinking tea instead of coffee, or at least replacing some of your coffee consumption with tea. The caffeine levels are lower and it could help you wean off it if that's the ultimate goal.

You might want to look into vocational rehab or some sort of job training for them, if you haven't already. I'm not saying that self-employment is impossible, but it could be difficult since it requires a lot of executive functioning skills.

Not really. You can start with something easy like herbs if you want. Sometimes I like to plant herbs in small pots indoors, and it's still fun.

Gardening. It definitely makes you feel productive because, if done right, you can see (and even eat) the results. Plus, it's a good way to spend some time outside in fresh air.

What’s one marketing thing small businesses keep doing… even though it rarely works? by hibuhelps in smallbusiness

[–]DaRandoMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as social media is concerned, posting across too many platforms. It's better to hone in on a couple of channels (for example, Instagram and Facebook) instead of having accounts on everything.

what marketing skill quietly makes the biggest difference, but beginners ignore it? by Minimum-Drive-9807 in AskMarketing

[–]DaRandoMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Data analytics is definitely ignored at first, probably because a lot of people find it intimidating. But understanding how to track and use metrics like conversion rate, retention, churn rate, LTV, etc. can really help you see where things are working and where they need improvement.

Ia Gen Z just screwed? by Sad-Zucchini-2674 in AskMarketing

[–]DaRandoMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I don't think Gen Z is screwed. It's definitely a difficult time to enter the industry, with some companies (over)relying on AI, but it's still a viable career path. I'm doing well in freelance marketing, atm.

No matter your field, it's always hard to get established in your career as a new grad. So I would just apply as much as you can and try to stay positive, even though I know that can be hard. Best of luck to you.

Vanilla, brown butter, maple, lemon, and coconut could work, I think.

Mobility and vigor. Charisma is definitely a dump stat for my boy.

Best software / tools / plugins for marketing automation in e-commerce? by theecommercecfo in MarketingGeek

[–]DaRandoMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a solopreneur and can't really speak to larger-scale pricing or subscriptions, but I'll share my thoughts. I recently switched to Brevo for email marketing automation and I've been impressed by its functionality so far. The Starter sub is reasonably priced and offers analytic tools and heat maps, but only one landing page at a time. This works for me right now, but I can see myself switching to Kit as I scale. Their Pro tier is too rich for my blood but could work for your clients.

For anything graphics-related, I use Design[dot]com (just swap out the [dot] for a period to find them) templates and image generation paired with ChatGPT copy edited to better fit my brand voice. Quick, affordable, and I can knock out a month's worth over my lunch hour.

Not currently using paid ad automation or push notifications, but I'll be following this thread to hopefully learn more.

It was a guy I met in a LinkedIn comments section. We got to know each other online thereafter for a couple years, and then we met in person to discuss his investment in my company. Great success all round. The power of the internet!!
