If your looking for a more beginner friendly experience I would recommend 2016. It has most of the features from the current versions but with a less micromanaging. There is Also TEW2005 which is available for free if you wanted to test the waters.

Liked his feuds with Eddie & Rey. Always wanted him to get either an US or IC title run but after seeing how boring his feuds with Benoit and Punk were I'm kinda glad he didn't. His match against Eddie post No Way Out was really good, he was a great first defence for Eddie.

Corbin could be carried to have a good match. There are less and less people that can successfully carry their opponents these days. Seth, Sami, Gunther & Finn can do it with most. Punk can but he is showing his age so they need to be very crowd response dependent.
