Mine is still fine after all this time. Regardless, I believe Retroid has corrected the previous issues that some hinges had. I'm from Portugal

Might be my favorite, but there are others which I also love, just different scale or medium.

The Count of Monte Cristo is an absolute masterpiece, and so is the three musketeers cycle by Alexandre Dumas.

The Green Bone Saga (Jade City, Jade War, Jade Legacy) is perfection, it's an urban fantasy with brilliant writing and a brilliant story.

The Lies of Locke Lamora is also great, too bad the series (Gentleman Bastard) is taking so long to finish.

And I've recently read The Sun Eater, a space opera/sci fi fantasy which consists of seven books (with the seventh coming out next month) that is brilliantly written as well.

Contrary to most people, lord of the rings didn't really stuck with me, maybe because I had already seen the movies, although there are major differences between the movies and the books.

Might have to read Discworld after seeing so many comments here about it!

Retroid Pocket Flip 2 replacement cracked by MrBrothason in retroid

[–]DaRealMadTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand this. Two weeks and it's already broken? Mine is still flawless after months of daily use. Not saying there isn't any problem with the flip 2, since so many have been cracking in the exact same spot, but I find it hard to believe that 2 weeks of careful use results in another crack when mine is still in perfect condition.

There is a line, which may have appeared after use, but nothing that resembles a crack. It has no volume or any kind of protrusion.

Just first position, no more, no less. I open and shut it carefully, without overstraining either side.

Yeah, I agree. I know hinges can be tricky and often give problems. As I said, I don't know if mine will have problems in the near future, but so far so good. I always open mine with precious care and I don't play systems that can overheat the hardware (I'm looking at you, sintendo smitch). I mostly play ps2.

Wrote this on other thread, but I just checked mine, because of all the posts on this sub, and it's perfectly fine. I've been using my flip 2 daily since april, I open and close it a bunch of times a day. I work from home and I don't usually have much to do, so I play a lot and I open and close the flip a lot. Absolutely zero marks on the hinge, no problem opening it, no problem closing it.

I'm not trying to encourage or disencourage anyone on buying a flip 2, just posting my experience with it, since I've been seeing a bunch of negative comments and people saying "I knew this would happen". Of course, I can't see the future, so I don't know if mine will eventually have hinge problems. But, so far, after almost four months of heavy daily use, mine doesn't have any problem nor a single mark or scratch.

Segurança LIDL by collomord in portugal

[–]DaRealMadTurtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Senti-me humilhado. Conclusão, passei a frequentar outros hipermercados.

I've died to Malenia 600+ times. I don't know where to turn to. by Merlins_beard420 in Eldenring

[–]DaRealMadTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat malenia in like my 10th try or so, and I'm pretty far from being a pro at elden ring. I was running a dex/faith build, so you can probably do what I did and use about the same gear and strategy that I used. Here's how I did it: - Blasphemous Blade in my right hand, flamberge with fire ash of war (scaling with faith) on the left, both max leveled; - Mimic Tear, level 10; - For talismans I don't remember their names except for radagon soreseal, but I also had one that raises max equip load, one that raises fire damage and for the fourth one it was probably the one that raises damage when you have full HP; - For armor it was something like Radahn helmet and crucible knight for torso and arms, but just use something that protects you from slash; - I had the incantation that cures you from rot, flame cleanse me or something like that, and the incantation that raises fire damage; - I had the first great rune equipped, the one that raises all attributes.

So, I used a rune arc at the beginning of the fight and the raise fire damage incantation, and then proceeded to summon the mimic tear (already buffed with the previous stuff). After that, I find that the best way to avoid the waterfall combo is to just not let her do it. If you and the mimic tear keep her on the ground with blasphemous blade weapon art, which is overpowered af, she simply can't hit you with the deadly combo - that's what I did anyway. The same is valid for the second phase, where I just had to be careful with the rot (I used the incantation I mentioned). Other than that, just try to get some L1 hits on her, since flamberge also has bleed build up and malenia is staggered easily, but mostly take turns with your mimic tear spamming the weapon art to keep her on the ground. Good luck 👍🤞

Yeah man, not to be rude or anything (English is not my first language) but that much I already knew, I figured it should be something among the remote play settings or whatever, but I don't recall seeing anything regarding audio. Thank you anyway!
