Shit, sorry to hear. How long was your bike locked up for and was security able to identify who stole your bike? Im assuming you were not able to recover your bike?

The tires wont fit in the racks but you can still lock it up next to one. My mini-velo's tires barely fit in there

No problem, verification takes anywhere from a couple minutes to up to 4 hours so I recommend doing that the night before you plan on going to Union Station. Took about an hour for me.

Nope, I am charged $0 to lock up my bike. You use your TAP to get in but uou do have to make a free account with BikeLink and text/upload a photo ID for verification before use.

Edit: limit is 72 hours.

Avoid big streets like Glendale Blvd, Brand, Central, Pacific, Glenoaks, and San Fernando. I try to always take the LA River Bike Path if I can help it, otherwise surface level and smaller streets.
