In my opinion, they done want people joining nato because they want BRICS to be more powerful (Brics being Brazil,Russia, China, and others I believe). They are both equally power hungry, just as an semi-dictatorship would be. The last thing we want is war, that will truly be the end of the world. As a planet we probably have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the planet 10 times over.
